Dastaan (History society of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College) Dr. Fauja Singh was the first teacher of History Department. S.S. Randawa and S.S. Sawhney joined the Department in the fifties.

This community is to bring together History Fraternity of SGTB Khalsa College to share our experiences and views regarding History & History Society in our college. He was a eminent historian who wrote a number of books on Punjab History and retired as Pro-VC of Punjab University, Patiala.
