Khushboo Mirza from Amroha Alumni of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on being Promoted as Director Rank 'Scientist -F ' post in Indian Space of Research Organisation (ISRO).

Khushboo Mirza is Indian scientist , working for ISRO . She was one the 12 engineers in the check - out division of Chandryaan 1 (India's first lunar probe) .

She was good at sports too.
Take part of in Volleyball and badminton tournament regularly . She had advanced to the district level in volleyball.

She contested the AMU student Union Election for the post of court membership F/O of Engineering and Technology . She is the first girl ever in AMU contest a student Union Election . She lost the Election but inspired others girls to take part in the Elections.

She pursued her B.tech form the AMU in 2006.
She was a very bright student , she always used to be the topper in school and during her college days.

Faculty of Dentistry, JMI shines bright in MDS Entrance Examinations 2020

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) graduates from the Faculty of Dentistry (FOD), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) shine again in the national level Master of Dental Surgery(MDS) entrance examination conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS). 4 graduates of FOD cleared the entrance test including the 2nd topper. A total of 15 graduates from FOD cleared various national level MDS entrance tests this year.

Dr. Vartika Chaddha bagged the 2nd rank in the AIIMS entrance exam while Dr. Sehrish Khan and Dr. Tanya Batra have secured 11th and 12th ranks respectively. Dr. Mohammad Arshad bagged the 8th rank in the OBC category of the same exam.

Earlier this year, students from FOD had performed extremely well in the NEET – PG examination for MDS admissions at various government colleges in India also.

Dr. Jaya Panday (Rank 59) and Dr. Zainab Kamal (Rank 82) have both secured MDS seat in Periodontics at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi. Dr. Radhika Gupta (Rank 180) has also been selected for MDS in Public Health Dentistry at the same institute. Dr. Vasundhara Prakash (Rank 306) was selected for MDS in Periodontics at GDC, Jaipur.

Dr. Sayema Bashir was selected at R. Ahmed Dental College, Kolkata and Dr. Tabassum at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for MDS in Oral Pathology. Dr. Sukesh Kumar secured a MDS seat in Endodontics at Post Graduate Institute (PGI), Rohtak.
Students who have joined MDS this year in private colleges include Dr. Ayesha Ansari (Endodontics in Subharti Dental College), Dr. Shakir Khan (Endodontics in Sri Bankey Bihari Dental College), Dr. Farheen Ahmad and Dr. Neetu Pandey (Periodontics at Kothiwal Dental College).

Prof Dr. Sanjay Singh, Dean, FOD, JMI has congratulated all the students who have worked hard to achieve this success and has encouraged future MDS aspirants to follow suit. He said that students’ achievements always bring great joy to the faculty and more so this year as it is the highest number of students clearing the MDS entrance examinations (11 in government colleges and 4 in private colleges) in a single year.

Students are the life line of any institute and the ones at FOD, JMI have made their university proud by their achievements consistently, he added.

जामिया ने 10 वां राष्ट्रीय रैंक हासिल करके अपनी अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता को एक बार फिर साबित किया
नेशनल इन्स्टिटूट रैंकिंग फ्रेमवर्क (एनआईआरएफ) ने ऑनलाइन कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के ज़रिए 11 जून, 2020 को भारत रैंकिंग 2020 जारी की है। यह बहुत गर्व की बात है कि जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया ने भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों के बीच 10 वां राष्ट्रीय रैंक और ओवरआॅल कैटगरी के तहत 16 वां रैंक हासिल किया है। जामिया टीचर्स एसोसिएशन (जेटीए), एनआईआरएफ की स्थापना के बाद पहली बार शीर्ष 10 में जगह बनाने की इस ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि पर पूरी जामिया बिरादरी को मुबारकबाद देती है। विश्वविद्यालय और ओवरआॅल रैंकिंग में 2 और 3 स्थानों का सुधार, जामिया की अवधारणा के नज़रिए से बहुत ही उल्लेखनीय है।

जेटीए के अध्यक्ष प्रो आमिर आज़म ने कहा, “जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया को अपनी स्थापना के शताब्दी वर्ष में यह एक बहुत बड़ा तोहफ़ा मिला है। जामिया एक उच्च प्रोफेशनल प्रोटोकॉल के साथ कामयाबी के सफर पर झूम कर आगे बढ़ रहा है। मैं हर उस पवित्र आत्मा के लिए धन्यवाद और प्रार्थना करना चाहूंगा जिन्होंने गांधी जी के आह्वान पर खि़लाफ़त (उपनिवेशवाद विरोधी और राष्ट्रवादी आंदोलन) के हिस्से के रूप में एक राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय के निर्माण का सपना देखा था।

उन्होंने कहा, हम इस विश्वविद्यालय की नींव रखने के बाद से इससे जुड़े उन सभी लोगों का आभार व्यक्त करते हैं जिन्होंने इसे सभी पहलुओं में महान बनाने में अपना योगदान किया। जामिया के इस 100 वें वर्ष में, हमें प्रो नजम अख़्तर के रूप में, किसी केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय में पहली बार एक महिला कुलपति मिलीं। चारों ओर फैले सभी तरह के राष्ट्रीय संकटों के बावजूद वह छात्रों को ममता भरी करुणा के साथ अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता के लिए प्रोत्साहित कर रही हैं।

जेटीए के सचिव प्रो माजिद जमील ने कहा, “जामिया के छात्रों की राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों तथा कंपनियों में भारी मांग है। बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियों और दुनिया के शीर्ष संस्थानों में वे पहली पसंद में गिने जाते हैं। उत्कृष्ट पेशेवर होने के अलावा, जामिया के छात्र नैतिक मूल्यों वाले हैं और मानवता की सेवा करने का जज़्बा रखते हैं। हमें यक़ीन है कि जामिया का रैंक एक दिन नंबर एक पर आ जाएगा।

श्री जमील ने कहा कि वर्तमान उपलब्धि ने जामिया के ताज में एक और खूबसूरत पंख जोड़ा है। इस कामयाबी में, जामिया बिरादरी के सदस्यों की अथक कोशिशें शामिल हैं जिन्होंने जामिया के इन 100 सालों के सफर में संस्था की सेवा की है। इस कामयाबी के लिए मैं, मौजूदा कुलपति के योगदान के साथ ही शिक्षकों, छात्रों, स्टाफ सदस्यों, एसी / ईसी सदस्यों, आईक्यूएसी सेल, अब तक के सभी रजिस्ट्रारों और कुलपतियों को भी बधाई देता हूं। मुझे यकीन है कि जामिया से जुड़े सभी लोगों में ज्यादा से ज़्यादा ज्ञान अर्जित करने और उपलब्धियां हासिल करने की ललक है और बुलंदियों तक पंहुचने के रास्ते से वे वाकिफ हैं।

जेटीए के संयुक्त सचिव डॉ एम इरफान कुरैशी ने कहा, “जामिया की यह कामयाबी पूरे राष्ट्र को एक विशेष संदेश देती है कि शिक्षा-अर्जन और राष्ट्र-सेवा के प्रति सतत, ईमानदार और निस्वार्थ रवैया एक उत्कृष्ट रैंक में तब्दील हो सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा, किसी भी संस्थान के आकलन के लिए पांच मापदंड हैं। टीचिंग, लर्निंग, रिर्सोसेज़ (टीएलआर), रिसर्च और प्रोफेशनल प्रैक्टिस (आरपीसी), ग्रेजुएशन नतीजे (जीओ), आउटरीच और इन्क्लूसिविटी (ओआई) और पीर परसेप्शन (पीपी)। यह बहुत उल्लेखनीय बात है कि जामिया ने आईआईटी-मद्रास (समग्र शीर्ष रैंक) और आईआईएससी बैंगलोर (विश्वविद्यालयों में शीर्ष रैंक) दोनों को जीओ और ओआई मानदंडों में बड़े अंतर से हराया है। उन्होंने कहा कि शीर्ष 5 में जगह बनाने के लिए, हमें आरपीसी में सुधार के लिए और ज़्यादा पेटेंट दाखिल करने होंगे। इसके अलावा, हम एनआईआरएफ और माननीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री से अनुरोध करते हैं कि सही मायनों में राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता के लिए अगले साल से ‘पीर परसेप्शन‘ मानदंड को हटा दें और यदि आवश्यक हो, तो यह पैरामीटर एक सप्लिमेंटरी आइटम के तौर पर रह सकता है। मैं जामिया बिरादरी, जामिया के शुभचिंतकों और अन्य एनआईआरएफ शीर्ष रैंकरों को भी बधाई देता हूं। शिक्षण बिरादरी के लिए विशेष धन्यवाद जो न केवल शिक्षा देते हैं बल्कि अपने लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए छात्रों का लगातार मार्गदर्शन भी करते हैं।

जेटीए, राष्ट्रीय रैंकिंग 2020 को समय पर रिलीज करने के लिए एमएचआरडी, यूजीसी और एनआईआरएफ का धन्यवाद करता है।

نیشنل انسٹی ٹیوٹ رینکنگ فریم ورک (این آئی آر ایف) نے 11 جون 2020 کو آن لائن کانفرنسنگ کے ذریعے انڈیا رینکنگ 2020 کا اعلان کیا۔ یہ بڑے فخر کی بات ہے کہ جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ نے ہندوستانی یونیورسٹیوں میں 10 واں اور مجموعی زمرے میں 16 واں مقام حاصل کیا ۔ جامعہ ٹیچرس ایسوسی ایشن (جے ٹی اے) نے جامعہ برادران کو اس نمایاں کارنامے پر مبارکباد پیش کی اور اس کامیابی کا سہرا جامعہ کے اساتذہ ، طلباء ، تدریسی و غیر تدریسی عملہ اور ان سب سے بڑھ کر وائس چانسلر کی قیادت کو دیا ۔

جے ٹی اے کے صدر پروفیسر عامر اعظم نے کہا آج جبکہ جامعہ ملیہ اسلامیہ اپنا صدی سال منا رہی ہے ، جامعہ کی یہ چھلانگ قابل تعریف ہے ۔ میں اس موقع پر جامعہ کی ان تمام ہستیوں کی روح کی شانتی کے لئے دعاگو ہوں جنھوں نے خلافت تحریک کی چھاوں میں اس یونیورسٹی کی بنیاد رکھی جو آج بلا تفریق مذہب و ملت ملک کے سبھی باشندوں کی خدمت میں مصروف عمل ہے ۔ ہمارے لیے یہ بات بھی قابل فخر ہے کہ اس عظیم ادارے کی قیادت ایک خاتون کر رہی ہیں جو جامعہ کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ ہوا ہے ۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر نجمہ اختر کی قیادت میں یونیورسٹی بے مثال کارنامے انجام دے رہا ہے ۔

جے ٹی اے کے سکریٹری پروفیسر ماجد جمیل نے کہا جامعہ کے طلباء کی قومی اور بین الاقوامی یونیورسٹیوں اور کمپنیوں میں کافی مانگ ہے۔ وہ ملٹی نیشنل کمپنیوں اور دنیا کے اعلی اداروں کا اولین انتخاب ہیں۔ ہمارے طلباء پیشہ ورانہ اعتبار سے ماہر ہونے کے علاوہ ، اپنے عظیم اخلاقی اقدار اور انسانیت کی خدمت کے لیے جانے جاتے ہیں۔ ہمیں یقین ہے کہ جامعہ کا مقام ایک دن پہلے نمبر پر ہوگا۔ موجودہ کامیابی نے جامعہ کی جھولی میں ایک اور اور تمغہ رکھ دیا ہے۔ میں اس کے لیے جامعہ برادری کے ممبروں کی انتھک کوششوں کو سلام کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے ادارہ کے 100 سالوں کے سفر میں اس کی بے لوث خدمت کی، میں اس کے لئے یہاں کے اساتذہ ، طلباء ،غیر تدریسی عملہ ، رجسٹرار ، اور وائس چانسلرز سبھی کو بھی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں ۔

جے ٹی اے کے جوائنٹ سکریٹری ڈاکٹر ایم عرفان قریشی نے کہا جامعہ کو یہ مرتبہ ان کے کارکنان کی مستقل محنت بے لوث خدمت ، محبت اورتعلیم و تعلم کے تئیں ان کے جنون کی وجہ سے ملا ہے ۔ ان کی یہ محنت آنے والے سالوں میں جامعہ کی مزید ترقی اور نیک نامی کا باعث ہوگی۔

First time JMI placed among top 10 universities in MHRD’s NIRF-2020 India Ranking



Significantly enhancing it's position, Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) has for the first time figured in top ten universities in the MHRD's National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF) India Ranking Report -2020 released by the Hon'ble HRD Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' today.



JMI has been ranked at the 10th position in the country in universities category, improving its position from 12 last year.



In ‘overall category’ the university has been placed at 16th position, enhancing it's ranking from 19th last year. IITs, IIMs, IISc, other top technical institutions and universities are included in overall category.



A total of around 6 thousand institutions took part in NIRF this year.



Expressing her delight over the performance of the university, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar said, “ the achievement is all the more significant because of the challenging time the university has faced recently and also in the light of increased competition in the ranking. "



She also said that this achievement was possible because of the relevant and focused research of highest quality and teaching by our dedicated and devoted faculty members.



She also attributed the achievement to the improved perception about the university with regard to teaching, placements, research etc. and hope to do better in the coming years.



Faculty of Law of the university have been ranked at 9th position, Faculty of Architecture & Ekistics at 10th , Faculty of Dentistry at 19th , Faculty of Engineering & Technology at 28th and Faculty of Management at 34th position in the country by the NIRF-2020.





NIRF ranking is given on the basis of parameters that include- teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and perception.



It is also worth mentioning here that JMI maintained its position for third consecutive year in the coveted Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings-2021 released last tuesday. JMI retained its rank at 751-800 even as number of universities getting ranked by QS increased this year.



JMI has been ranked at 15th position among Indian institutions which includes IISc and IITs also. Among the universities JMI is at 6th rank in the country by QS World University Rankings.



Recently, JMI's Engineering & Technology improved it's rank in London based Times Higher Education(THE) Subject Ranking-2020.It enhanced its position from 601-800 last year to 401-500 this year, a jump of 200. Within India its rank is 11 among all higher education institutions while among universities it is at 2nd position.



For the first time JMI's computer science also made it to the list of best institutions offering the subject and improved its rank in physical science subject also in the THE Subject Ranking 2020.
