When a bioscience summit brings together science, entrepreneurship, technology and the people building what comes next, it becomes much more than a conference.
It was a privilege for Premas Life Sciences to be part of The Next Gene Bioscience Summit 2026, hosted by ' Union in Gurugram.
The summit brought together an extraordinary cross-section of the bioscience ecosystem - researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, students, startups and industry leaders with conversations spanning genomics, AI, longevity, biotechnology and the future of healthcare. Premas had a meaningful presence across the summit.
K. Gupta , joined the panel discussions to share his entrepreneurial journey and the story of Premas, from building a life sciences organisation in India to creating an ecosystem that connects global technologies with the scientific community.
Dr. Saha was part of the jury evaluating some of the promising startups presenting their ideas, bringing an industry perspective to the conversations around innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Pandey PhD led an engaging NGS workshop, taking participants through the workflow of an NGS experiment and helping the audience understand what happens behind the sequencing data they see from experimental design to the generation of meaningful genomic information.
And throughout the day, the Premas team at the booth had the opportunity to meet researchers, students, founders and industry professionals, exchange ideas and discuss the technologies shaping the next phase of genomics and life sciences.
The summit also featured thought-provoking conversations with some remarkable voices from the ecosystem, including Dr. Sangita Reddy, Dr. K. Thangaraj, Dr. Shriram Nene, Dr. Hemlata Wadhwani Bhatia, Anuradha Acharya and many others, along with the opportunity to hear Dr. David Sinclair share his perspective on longevity and the future of science.
What made The Next Gene particularly interesting was its approach. It brought the laboratory, the classroom, the startup ecosystem and the boardroom into the same conversation.
For an industry moving as rapidly as bioscience, these intersections matter.
