On Thursday, July 27, 2017, multiple events under our annual physics competition Infinity were held in various venues across the school. The events, along with their winners, are as follows:

2nd place - Okay (Abhinav Kumar, Jason Joby and Aniket Jain)
3rd place – Chaos (Kanav Nema, Sarthak Chhabra and Sarthak Jain)

1st place – Sincerity (A***n Ramabadhran and Manas Kulkarni)
2nd place – Aspiration (Arush Utkarsh and Achal)
3rd place – Gratitude (Harsh Pandey and Rudransh Mishra)

2nd place – Honesty (Jayant Duneja and Ritvik Singh)
3rd place – Truth (Kabir Tyagi and Ganesh T.S.)

We congratulate the winners and thank all the participants for their enthusiasm.

We would like to acknowledge the collaborative efforts behind this Infinity. We owe a great thanks to Minet, without whom we couldn’t have had Enigma. We also thank Iris, whose members worked with us throughout the making of Infinity.

Enigma, our online cryptic hunt, was held on July 24-25, 2017. This year more than 50 teams participated, which led to many interesting discussions, and even more interesting answers.

Think Faster.

We are proud to present to you our annual intra-school competition, Infinity, which will be held on Thursday, July 27th. It is open to students of classes IX-XII, and comprises of 4 events.

Enigma: Our online cryptic hunt will start at 3:14pm on Monday, July 24th. Register in teams of 3 latest by Sunday, the 23rd at http://tiny.cc/enigma17 .

Quiz: Not your ordinary quiz. Register in teams of 3 latest by Thursday, the 20th at http://tiny.cc/quiz17 . Prelims will be held on Friday, the 21st in the computer lab during the assembly time.

Theory & Experimentation: This is an inter-house event and tests the very basics of physics itself. Students of classes XI-XII are eligible to participate.

Fermi: This is also an inter-house event, but of estimation and requires only good judgement and common sense. Students of classes IX-X are eligible to participate.

To register for the inter-house events, contact your respective house teachers/captains at the earliest. Prelims for both will be held on Tuesday, the 25th in the computer lab during the assembly time.

You can only participate in one of the onsite events, but everyone can participate in Enigma regardless.

We encourage everyone to participate no matter how well versed you think you are with the concepts of physics.

All those interested are requested to register as soon as possible.

We have finally reached the conclusion of our annual online hunt, Enigma. We saw a tremendous turnout this year, with over 60 teams taking part (nearly double the number from last year!).

This year's winners were,

The second runner's up - The Doppler Effect (Sarvag Rian Sahu, Samriddhi Agnihotri, and Ishika Chandel)

Runner's up - isdek (Kaavya Jeevakumar, Manaswi Sharma and Ishika Kaul)

12 hours to go till the beginning of Enigma. We have seen a huge increase in the number of participants, with over 60 teams participating this year. An email has been sent to all valid email adresses that the participants have provided, and Slack invites have also been sent to participant 1 of each team.
Get ready to Think Again.

Presenting Infinity' 16

Impulse is a team of students from classes IX to XII with a common passion, physics. We share ideas and creations, discuss various topics and represent the school in various symposiums. If you think you share the same passion, and would like to pursue it, come and contact Arpit Behera or Abhiraj Majumder of class XII C.

We are proud to present our annual intra school competition, Infinity. It will be on the 28th of July. This year, we have multiple events in store for you. Students of classes 9th through 12th are eligible to take part. Infinity will comprise of 4 events.

Enigma - an online cryptic hunt, which starts at 3:14 in the afternoon on Monday, the 25th of July.


Quiz - for which the prelims are on also on the 25th, during the recess in the computer lab.

Theory and Experimentation - which is an inter-house event for classes 11th and 12th, on the 28th itself.


Fermi - which is also an inter-house event for classes 9th and 10th. Fermi is an event of approximation questions, which require only common sense, and quick thinking.


We encourage everyone to participate regardless of how well versed you think you are with the concepts of physics.

Everyone who registered for the Lecture and Interactive Session which shall take place tomorrow have to be present in the Hall of Grace by 8:15 a.m. It is a request to every participant that they be punctual.
