Teacher is foundation of all Education, and thus the whole civilization of mankind present and future. No nation' reconstruction is possible without the active cooperation of the teachers.
University of Delhi is all set to demote the current ad hoc teachers to the position of guest teachers. Instead of empowering higher education ,university is giving more authority to the corporate bodies and that is clearly not in interest of public education.

The Department of Physical Science of Hindu College condemns the step taken by the University administration, leaving thousand of ad-hoc professors bereft of certainty.

We stand in complete solidarity with DUTA and sincerely urge all the students to join the protest.

Urjotsav, the annual fest of Department of Physical Science is being organised on 6th of March, 2019. We feel immense pleasure and gratitude in inviting all of you for a very warm and one of its kind gathering. The event will commence by a talk on "Global Warming & Climate Change: Cause and Solution" which will be given by Dr Om Prakash Pandey. It will be followed by a spree of different events. You are definitely going to have a time of your lives here, so do come and make this event more successful!
