Official page of the Computer Science and Engineering Society of the IIT(ISM), Dhanbad. The Indian School of Mines Computer Science and Engineering Society.

Herein after called, CSES shall function under the auspices of Indian School of Mines 'Computer Science & Engineering Department' hereinafter called the 'CSE'. The objective of the CSES shall be to promote Computer Science & Engineering awareness among the students in the CSE by organizing technical activities such as lectures, workshop, quizzes and excursion and to foster relationship among the past and present students and the teachers of the CSE by organizing various departmental events such as annual day celebration, fresher's welcome, farewell etc.

Second round of Competitive programming challenge organised during Codemarathon V6.0 will take place on 17th March 2020(9 PM to 12 AM).

Also division of participation is same as previous rounds.

Round 2 registration tab will be hosted by 2 PM.

Due To coding rounds/contest of Expedia, Microsoft(Codess), and UBER SHE++, the rounds are postponed till tomorrow. First round of Code Marathon competitive programming will start tomorrow at 9PM and ML problem will be published tomorrow at 12AM.

Code Marathon is back with its 6th iteration.
We are continuing the same pattern as was in last year due to the overwhelming response we received for ML track last year.
Students from all disciplines are requested to participate in the event and develop a healthy coding culture in the department.

Two of our distinguished alumni Dr. Dilip Kumar Prasad (Batch of 2003, CSE), currently Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science at UiT, The Arctic University of Norway and Dr. Krishna Agarwal (Batch of 2003, ECE), currently Associate Professor, Department of Physics and Technology at UiT, The Arctic University of Norway will be visiting IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for the purpose of Interaction with Students and exploring the possibility of Summer Internship for students of B.Tech and Ph.D. opportunities for students of M.Tech., with scholarship. Interested students are requested to reach the venue on time.
