राजकीय महाविद्यालय धर्मशाला में बीबीए डिपार्टमेंट के विद्यार्थी रोमिल चौहान को बीबीए में प्रदेश भर में टॉप करने पर प्रदेश हाल ही में आयोजित विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह में राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने मेधावियों को सम्मानित किया जिस दौरान महाविद्यालय के बीबीए से रोमिल चौहान को प्रदेश भर में टॉप करने के लिए भी सवर्ण पदक से समान्नित किया।

दरअसल शिमला की अपनी चार दिवसीय पहली यात्रा के दूसरे दिन, राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय (एचपीयू) के 26वें वार्षिक दीक्षांत समारोह में छात्रों को डिग्री और पदक प्रदान किए। राष्ट्रपति के हाथों मेडल पाकर मेधावियों के चेहरे खिल उठे। दीक्षांत समारोह में महाविद्यालय धर्मशाला के बीबीए डिपार्टमेंट के विद्यार्थी गोल्ड पाने वाले रोमिल चौहान ने कहा कि यह उनके लिए जीवन भर याद रहने वाला पल रहा। राष्ट्रपति व राज्यपाल शिव प्रताप शुक्ला, मुख्यमंत्री सुखुविन्दर सिंह सुखु ने उन्हें सम्मानित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि मैंने कभी सोचा भी नहीं था कि यह अवसर मिलेगा। आज महाविद्यालय में कॉलेज प्रचार्य डॉ. संजीवन कटोच, बीबीए विभाग के कॉर्डिनेटर डॉ. संजय पठानिया के साथ प्रोफेसर धीरज कटोच, प्रोफेसर सुजाता, प्रोफेसर मीनाक्षी, प्रोफेसर ऋषभ चौहान सहित पूरी टीम ने रोमिल का कॉलेज पहुंचने पर स्वागत किया और शुभकामनाएं दी।
