Severe bleeding can be life-threatening within minutes — but quick action can save a life.

Essential steps to control heavy bleeding:
1️⃣ Apply direct pressure on the wound using a bandage, clean cloth, or your hand.
2️⃣ Immobilize the injured part to prevent further damage.
3️⃣ Raise the limb above heart level to slow bleeding.
4️⃣ If the cloth is soaked, do NOT remove it — place another layer on top and press firmly.
5️⃣ For uncontrolled bleeding, use a tourniquet or tight bandage above the wound.
6️⃣ Seek emergency medical help immediately. Stay calm and act fast.
