Today, Dibrugarh University's Centre for Studies in Geography celebrates World Science Day in the seminar hall of the Centre for Studies in Geography. The session began at 12:30 p.m. and ended at 1:30 p.m. In the seminar hall, professors and students were present, and the anchor Priya Protushi Buragohain, began the session. Protyush Protim Gogoi delivered his speech on the importance of World Science Day. Professor Chandra Kumar Dutta then presented his PPT and gave his views and thoughts. Then Professor Himadri Changmai ma'am, Diram Bori sir, and Jyoti Saikia sir also presented their views and thoughts. Following the speech , we screened four short films about the environment and climate, which helps the students to have more focus and awareness about our nature and environment.
The Green Diwali campaign which was happened back in 4th November was also presented in the form of a video. The video Showcase the work and effort of whole student body of Centre for Studies in Geography.
