Today, Dibrugarh University's Centre for Studies in Geography celebrates World Science Day in the seminar hall of the Centre for Studies in Geography. The session began at 12:30 p.m. and ended at 1:30 p.m. In the seminar hall, professors and students were present, and the anchor Priya Protushi Buragohain, began the session. Protyush Protim Gogoi delivered his speech on the importance of World Science Day. Professor Chandra Kumar Dutta then presented his PPT and gave his views and thoughts. Then Professor Himadri Changmai ma'am, Diram Bori sir, and Jyoti Saikia sir also presented their views and thoughts. Following the speech , we screened four short films about the environment and climate, which helps the students to have more focus and awareness about our nature and environment.
The Green Diwali campaign which was happened back in 4th November was also presented in the form of a video. The video Showcase the work and effort of whole student body of Centre for Studies in Geography.

For us, it was a amazing experience. Thank you for your cooperation, Chairperson Dr. Tapos Kumar Goswami sir.

I hope our endeavour inspires meaningful change in our student community.

On November 10, 2021, the Dibrugarh University Centre for Studies in Geography will celebrate World Science Day 2021. This year's theme is "Building Climate-Ready Communities," and this project is a component of our Green Diwali campaign, which was celebrated on November 4th. There will be a presentation about climate change and community involvement, as well as documentary screening. We'll discuss our thoughts and initiatives. Everyone is kindly invited to participate in this big endeavour.

Green Diwali 2021: An Initiative of Centre for Studies in Geography, Dibrugarh University
Dibrugarh University's Centre for Studies in Geography celebrated Green Diwali on November 4, 2021. Our Center has been commemorating this event and campaign since 2013, with the goal of raising environmental awareness and restoring the ecosystem. Diwali, on the other hand, is no longer regarded as a celebration of lights. Instead, we use firecrackers and other dangerous items that threaten our environment, humans, and wildlife. We all are part of nature, and as such, it is our job to protect our planet. So, as part of this occasion, we held an awareness campaign in Dibrugarh University's hostels and different locations, giving out diyas that we colour and sharing our feelings and views with the people around us.
We hope that the Green Diwali concept would aid in the preservation of our environment.
Aside from Diwali, other events also harmed our environment, a single person can't make a difference. So, we the students of Centre for Studies in Geography of Dibrugarh University are working together to raise awareness about this issue in order make a global change.

ডিব্ৰুগড় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ অন্যতম ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ দ্বাৰা ৫ ছেপ্তেম্বৰ, ২০২১ তাৰিখে শিক্ষক দিৱস অনলাইন মাধ্যমেৰে অনুষ্ঠিত কৰা হয় । ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলৰ প্ৰচেষ্টাত আয়োজিত শিক্ষক দিৱসত উপস্হিত থাকে ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ সম্মানীয় চেয়াৰপাৰ্চন ডিব্ৰুগড় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ ভূতত্ব বিভাগৰ ড° তাপচ কুমাৰ গোস্বামী ছাৰকে প্ৰমুখ্যে কৰি কেন্দ্ৰৰ শিক্ষাগুৰুসকল । পুৱা ১০:০০ বজাৰ পৰা গুগল মিটৰ জৰিয়তে আয়োজন কৰা শিক্ষক দিৱস অনুষ্ঠানটো আঁত ধৰে ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ ছাত্ৰী প্ৰিয়া প্ৰত্যুষী বুঢ়াগোঁহাইয়ে । বিশেষ কাৰ্যসূচীৰ দ্বাৰা অনুষ্ঠানটো আয়োজন কৰা হয় আৰু সভাৰ আৰম্ভণিতে ঘোষিকাৰ দ্বাৰা সভাখনৰ তাৎপৰ্য ব্যাখ্যা কৰাৰ লগতে শিক্ষাগুৰু সকলক আদৰণি জনোৱা হয় । তাৰ পাছতে ড° সৰ্বপল্লী ৰাধাকৃষ্ণণ দেৱক শ্ৰদ্ধাঞ্জলি জ্ঞাপন কৰা হয় আৰু তেখেতৰ অৱদান আৰু জীৱনী সংক্ষেপে আলোকপাত কৰে শিৱানী ফুকনে । পৰৱৰ্তী কাৰ্যসূচীত সভাখন উদ্বোধন কৰে ড° তাপচ কুমাৰ গোস্বামী ছাৰে আৰু তেখেতৰ বহুমূলীয়া বক্তৃতাই সকলোকে অনুপ্ৰাণিত কৰে । তাৰ পিছতে কেন্দ্ৰৰ শিক্ষাগুৰু সকলে দুআষাৰ কয় । ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ শিক্ষাগুৰু শুক্লা আচাৰ্যী বাইদেউকে প্ৰমুখ্যে কৰি চন্দ্ৰ কুমাৰ দত্ত ছাৰ, হিমাদ্ৰী চাংমাই বাইদেউ, জ্যোতি শইকীয়া ছাৰ, ডিৰাম বৰী ছাৰ সকলোৱে মনৰ ভাৱ ব্যক্ত কৰাৰ লগতে ছাত্ৰ-ছাত্ৰীসকলক শুভেচ্ছা জনায় । তাৰ পিছতে ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ সভাপতি জিন্তু দাস আৰু দ্বিতীয় ষান্মাসিকৰ ছাত্ৰ দীপজ্যোতি গোৱালাই মনৰ ভাৱ ব্যক্ত কৰে । পৰৱৰ্তী কাৰ্যসূচী মৰ্মে নৱনীতা পানীফুকনৰ কথাৰে ৰূপাশ্ৰী ফুকনৰ দ্বাৰা এটি কবিতা আবৃত্তি কৰা হয় আৰু নৱনীতা পানীফুকনে কণ্ঠদান কৰা এটি গানৰ ভিডিঅ' প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰা হয় । লগতে শিক্ষাগুৰু সকলৰ বাবে স্মৃতিৰ ৰোমন্থন তথা শিক্ষক দিৱসৰ শুভেচ্ছা বাৰ্তাৰে এটি ভিডিঅ' প্ৰদৰ্শন কৰা হয় । ৰূপাশ্ৰী ফুকনৰ শলাগৰ শৰাইৰে উক্ত সভাখন সুচাৰু ৰূপে অনুষ্ঠিত কৰা হয় ।

শিক্ষক দিৱস বিশেষ এই সভাখনত উপস্হিত থাকি অনুপ্ৰাণিত কৰাৰ বাবে শ্ৰদ্ধাৰ চেয়াৰপাৰ্চন ড° তাপচ কুমাৰ গোস্বামী ছাৰক ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ তৰফৰ পৰা ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন কৰাৰ লগতে সমূহ শিক্ষাগুৰুক শিক্ষক দিৱসৰ শুভেচ্ছা জ্ঞাপনেৰে বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানটো উদযাপন কৰা হয় । তদুপৰি অনুষ্ঠানটোৰ সফল ৰূপায়নৰ বাবে ভূগোল অধ্যয়ন কেন্দ্ৰৰ সন্মানীয় বিভাগীয় প্ৰতিনিধি, সভাপতি আৰু সম্পাদককে প্ৰমুখ্যে কৰি কেন্দ্ৰৰ সমূহ অগ্ৰজ অনুজক কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন কৰা হয় ।
