🏗️ One-Day Site Visit for Civil Engineering Students | 11 August 2026

Bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering! 👷‍♂️🏗️

The Department of Civil Engineering, The New Horizons Institute of Technology (NHIT) organized a One-Day Site Visit on 11 August 2026 for its Civil Engineering students.

The visit provided students with valuable hands-on exposure to actual construction practices, enabling them to understand how theoretical concepts are applied at a live project site. Students observed various aspects of construction, including site planning, structural work, materials, construction methodology, safety practices, surveying, and quality control.

Such industrial and site visits play an important role in developing students’ technical knowledge, practical skills, professional awareness, and confidence as future civil engineers.

We sincerely appreciate the faculty members, site professionals, and everyone involved in making this educational visit informative and successful. 🙌
