*A 5 Day Faculty Development Programme on “Instructional Design and Delivery Techniques” for Batch-II is conducted from 15-06-2026 to 19-06-2026 by Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering in collaboration with NITTTR-Chennai for the staff of Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering. 45 Staff members actively participated in the FDP. Resource persons from NITTTR-Chennai conducted sessions to enhance Micro Level Teaching and Delivery Techniques that can be effectively utilised in the class room teaching. Principal Dr. K. Venkateswrara Rao and FDP Coordinator Dr. N. Deepak, Professor of CSE participated in the valedictory function.*

Department of Civil Engineering, Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering (A), Eluru has submitted a Report to SP, Eluru Dist on 20-05-2026.

Department of Civil Engineering successfully carried out a comprehensive Road Safety Assessment and Traffic Volume Study at major junctions and accident-prone locations in Eluru District along NH-216A, upon the request of the Superintendent of Police, Eluru District.

📍 Study Locations:
1. Shantinagar Y Junction
2. Tengalamudi Centre
3. Kandrikagudem Centre, and
4. 16 Blind Spot Locations along NH-216A

30 no's III yr students and faculty actively participated in field investigations, vehicle counting classification, and data analysis to identify critical traffic conflict zones and suggest engineering measures for accident reduction and safer transportation systems.
