โ๏ธ The University has extended the last date for submission of online application forms to August 15, 2020 for admission to various UG and PG courses for the academic session 2020-21.
โ๏ธ The last date for submission of online application forms for PhD admission has also been extended upto September 15, 2020.
โ๏ธ This Year, there will be no entrance examination procedure for admission to Undergraduate (Except B.Tech) and Post-graduate courses.
โ๏ธ For B.Tech admissions, students are advised to visit www.hstes.org.in for regular updates.
โ๏ธ The admission to UG (Except B.Tech) Courses will be made on the basis of the merit of marks obtained in the last attended qualifying examination.
โ๏ธ The admission to PG Courses such as M.Sc., MBA and MA will be made on the basis of the merit of Final Semester or Pre-final Semester qualifying examination.
โ๏ธ The admission to M.Tech Courses will be made on the basis of GATE Qualification. In the order of merit, second preference will also be given to the candidates who are GATE qualified and have also appeared in final semester. After that, B.Tech qualified, and at last, B.Tech 7th semester qualified applicants will be considered for admission.
โ๏ธ The University has also announced the Academic Calendar for odd-semester of session 2020-21 for existing students.
โ๏ธ The odd-semester commencing from July 20, will last upto November 27, 2020.
โ๏ธ The practical classes will be conducted from November 1 to 27, 2020.
โ๏ธ The final practical examination will be conducted from December 1 to 7, 2020 and theory examination will be commenced from December 14, 2020.
โ๏ธ The next even semester has been scheduled from January 11, 2021.
โ๏ธ The academic calendar for first year students will be declared after the completion of admission procedure.
