Education in the true sense can be defined as a means to learning. It would ideally be a process to enlighten the youth with knowledge, which should then be used to reform the world. But education today is being reduced to a mere echo from one generation to another. Most students today fail to grasp the essence of what is being taught. Students who graduate with honors are unable to put their know
ledge to any use in the practical environment of the Industry. Unemployment is rampant in the nation and yet there is an unfulfilled demand for competent engineers in the market. The above scenario would reflect inadequacies in either the methods of teaching or in the method of learning. We can only aim to resolve the first as it has been said, "You can take a man to the University but you can’t make him think." -Peter Dunn. We wish to provide an environment to all the aspirants where they can get an education which is not merely knowledge of facts but of values. We wish to provide every student with an opportunity to learn and learn in the correct sense of the word. We wish to create a generation of creators and not mere repeaters. With these aspirations we have set up the Echelon Institute of Technology. State of the art infrastructure, excellent facilities, industry exposure and value added courses, through these means we hope to provide students with an atmosphere which should aid them in their quest to learn. With an experienced and qualified staff and with emphasis given to practical applications of all subjects, we wish to churn out not only degree holders but skilled and trained professionals. We exhort every student to remember that learning is beyond classrooms, textbooks and grades. And it is only true learning which is of any use in real world.
