π School Finishing Programme 2026 | Day 4 Highlights
The fourth day of the School Finishing Programme was thoughtfully conducted with the objective of nurturing professionalism and reflective practice among prospective teachers.
The session was led by Ms. Neeru Dhir, the resource person for the day, on the theme Professional Ethics, Reflection and Conditions Development.βShe emphasized the vital role of professional ethics in teaching, highlighting core values such as integrity, responsibility, fairness, respect, and commitment. She also elaborated on the ethical responsibilities of teachers towards students, colleagues, institutions, and society, noting that ethical conduct is the foundation of trust and credibility in education.
A significant focus of the session was on reflective practice as a tool for continuous professional growth. Participants were encouraged to critically examine their teaching experiences, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and adopt practices like reflective journaling and self-evaluation to enhance classroom effectiveness.
Further, the discussion on conditions development shed light on the importance of creating positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environments. Ms. Dhir highlighted how teachers can foster empathy, collaboration, and student-centered approaches to build conducive classroom and school conditions.
