The session provided comprehensive knowledge on newborn and child healthcare, emergency management, resuscitation techniques, and evidence-based nursing practices. The First Aid Module presentation was successfully conducted by the Vidyanta team with the support of proper laboratory facilities and advanced medical equipment. The resource persons shared comprehensive and practical knowledge regarding first aid management, emergency care, CPR, wound care, and handling various medical emergencies. The session was highly informative and interactive, helping students strengthen their clinical skills and confidence. Students actively participated in demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities, showing great enthusiasm and interest throughout the program. A special ceremony was organized by the college management to celebrate new appointments and promotions among the faculty members. The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge, positivity, and success. On this proud occasion, Jagdev Singh was honored for his promotion as Assistant Professor. Along with this, Komaljeet Kaur and Amandeep Kaur were warmly welcomed on their new joining as Lecturers.
The college management congratulated all the faculty members and appreciated their dedication, hard work, and commitment toward education. Bouquets were presented as a token of respect and appreciation, making the atmosphere joyful and memorable. Sweets were also distributed among everyone to celebrate the happiness of this special occasion.
During the ceremony, the management expressed that teachers play an important role in shaping the future of students and strengthening the institution through their knowledge and sincere efforts. On the occasion of Florence Nightingale’s birthday and International Nurses Day, we organized a peaceful and spiritual recitation of Sukhmani Sahib with great devotion and respect. The celebration became even more special with a beautiful lamp lighting ceremony dedicated to the values and service spirit of nursing. A cake was also cut to mark the birthday celebration of Florence Nightingale and to honor the dedication of nurses.
Our respected Director, Dharampaul Bansal, motivated and honored all the nurses in a wonderful manner. He presented us with sarope and valuable gifts, making us feel proud and respected for being part of the noble nursing profession. His inspiring words filled everyone with confidence and happiness.
The event was also graced by special guests Kiran Bansal and Yogesh Bansal Director of harmony ayurvedic medical college and hospital Ferozepur, CA Priyanka Jain, , Prashi Aggarwal, and Sarvika Aggarwal, who shared their warm wishes and appreciation for the nursing community. The entire celebration was filled with positivity, gratitude, and pride for the selfless service provided by nurses.

Today’s visit gave B.Sc Nursing students a truly valuable life lesson beyond textbooks. At the old age home, they learned the importance of compassion, respect, and emotional care for the elderly, realizing that healing is not only physical but also psychological. At Verka Dairy Farm, they understood the role of hygiene, nutrition, and quality control in promoting public health. Throughout the visit, teachers actively guided and sensitized the students, helping them understand real-life responsibilities and the importance of awareness in healthcare. This experience strengthened their sense of responsibility as future professionals.

Oath Ceremony was successfully conducted today for the students who have newly joined the nursing profession in the new academic session. The ceremony marked an important milestone in the lives of the students, as they formally pledged to uphold the values, ethics, and responsibilities of the noble nursing profession.
The occasion was graced by our esteemed chief guest Bhupinder Singh, SSP Ferozepur, whose presence added great dignity to the event. He encouraged the students to serve society with dedication, discipline, and compassion. Special presence was also marked by Dharampaul Bansal, Director, who addressed the students in detail about the importance of the nursing oath, professional ethics, and the crucial role nurses play in healthcare services.
