🎓💼 Campus Placement Drive & Certificate Distribution Ceremony
(IQAC Initiative)

The Career Guidance, Counselling and Placement Cell of Adarsha Shikshana Samiti’s V. R. Kustagi Memorial College of Commerce, Gadag, in association with Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd. and TMI e2E Academy Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized a Certificate Distribution Ceremony and Campus Placement Drive on 13 June 2026.

The programme began with a welcome by Prof. Ishwar M. Yavagal, Placement Officer. A total of 103 students who successfully completed Tally and Soft Skills Training under the Ayana Skill Development Programme were awarded certificates, recognizing their efforts in enhancing employability skills.

Principal Dr. V. T. Naikar congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of industry-oriented training for career growth. Dr. Mahesh Bhat, Director, LCC Dharwad, encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills and prepare for evolving career opportunities.

The placement drive attracted over 70 final-year B.Com and M.Com students, with leading organizations such as Infosys, Tata Electronics, Honda, and Dafson's Healthcare Solutions Pvt. Ltd. participating in the recruitment process. More than 60 students were shortlisted for further rounds, reflecting the institution’s commitment to student success.

The programme was presided over by Shri A. D. Godkhindi, Secretary, Adarsha Shikshana Samiti, who appreciated the collaborative efforts in creating meaningful career opportunities for students.

🌍🌱 World Environment Day Celebration by NCC Cadets 🌱🌍

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the NCC Company, under the guidance of Capt. S.B. Jadhav, organized various environmental awareness activities including Tree Plantation, Campus Cleaning, and Watering of Plants.

NCC cadets from PUC, B.Com, BBA, and BCA actively participated in the programme with great enthusiasm and commitment. The event was graced by Dr. V.T. Naikar, Principal of the B.Com Section, Shri R.R. Kulkarni, Principal of the PU Section, Shri L.S. Reshmi, Principal of the BBA/BCA Section, and staff members, who joined the cadets in planting saplings and promoting environmental conservation.

The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of protecting nature, maintaining cleanliness, and encouraging students to become responsible citizens committed to a sustainable future. The NCC cadets enthusiastically took part in campus cleaning and nurturing plants, contributing towards a greener and healthier environment.

The Principals appreciated the dedication, discipline, and active involvement of the cadets in making the programme a grand success. The event concluded with a pledge to continue working towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

ಆದರ್ಶ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಶ್ರೀ. ವಿ.ಆರ್. ಕುಷ್ಟಗಿ ಮೆಮೋರಿಯಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್‌ನ ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ **ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ** ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ **ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ**ವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ **ಮೈ ಭಾರತ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಹಾಗೂ ಐ.ಎ.ಎಸ್. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ** ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೆರುಗನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ **ಡಾ. ವಿ.ಟಿ. ನಾಯ್ಕರ್** ಅವರು ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, “ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಜನಾಂದೋಲನವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಒಂದು ಮರವನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಪೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬಹುದು” ಎಂದು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು, ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕಿಯರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ **ಡಾ. ವಿ.ಟಿ. ನಾಯ್ಕರ್** ಅವರು ಸಸಿಗೆ ನೀರೆರೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆಗೊಳಿಸುವುದೇ ಈ ದಿನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್, ಹೃದಯ ರೋಗ, ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶದ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ಗಂಭೀರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಂಬಾಕು ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ದೂರವಿದ್ದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಂದರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಾದ **ಕು. ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಗುಡಿ** ಹಾಗೂ **ಕು. ರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್** ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ವ ತಂಬಾಕು ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು.

🧠✨ *Quiz Fiesta 2026* was successfully organized by the Planning Forum Department under the IQAC initiative of Adarsha Shikshana Samiti’s Shri V.R. Kustagi College of Commerce, Gadag-Betgeri on 19th May 2026 at SJ Hall. The event aimed to enhance students’ general awareness, subject knowledge, teamwork, and confidence through an engaging quiz competition.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. V. T. Naikar and coordinated by Miss Sunita Tirlapur, Chairperson of the Planning Forum Department. Students enthusiastically participated in various rounds including Commerce, Sports, Identification, Computer Knowledge, and Logo/Company rounds. 🎯📚💻

The event was graced by the presence of Shri K. V. Kustagi, President of Adarsha Shikshana Samiti, Shri P. R. Adavi, Vice President, and Shri A. D. Godkhindi, Secretary, who motivated students with their inspiring words. Cash prizes were distributed to the winners, appreciating their outstanding performance. 🏆👏

📚✨ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪದವಿ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ “ಯುವ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮಾವೇಶ–2026” ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಕಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಿಂದ ತಾಯಿ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿಯ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರದ ಭವ್ಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಕುಷ್ಟಗಿ ಅವರು ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯರಿಂದ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಯುವ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಷಯಾಧಾರಿತ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮಂಡನೆಗಳು, ಯುವ ಕವಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯುವ ಸಾಧಕರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು. 🎤📖🏆
ಈ ಸಮಾವೇಶವು ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಯಿತು. 🌸
