XITE Gamharia Autonomous XITE (Autonomous) is a timely initiative of XLRI Jamshedpur with unflinching support of the JJS.

XITE Gamharia was started by the Jamshedpur Jesuit Society in 2007 with the objective of providing especially the students of the State of Jharkhand a 3-year integrated and innovative Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Course after their Plus-Two. XLRI, Tata Steel, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Citizens of Jamshedpur and the Government of Jharkhand have also played a vital role in creating and translating the vision of XITE into a reality.

Celebrating Strength, Grace and Power at XITE Gamharia!

Today, on 8th March 2025, XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) culminated its week-long celebration of International Women's Day with a grand cultural extravaganza at the College Assembly Ground. Organized by The Cultural Club, the event was a vibrant reflection of women's strength, talent and contribution.

The event featured:
💃 Group Dance & Solo Dance - Energetic performances showcasing diverse cultural richness.
🎶 Group Song, Band & Solo Song - Melodious performances capturing the essence of Women's Day.
🗣️ Speech - Inspiring words about women empowerment and breaking barriers.
🎲 Games for Female Faculty - Fun and engaging activities to uplift the spirit of togetherness.
👗 Paper Couture Show - A mesmerizing display of creativity and craftsmanship through paper-made fashion.

XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) is proud to host the "FARISHTEY – ACCIDENT FIRST RESPONDER" Training Session in collaboration with Young Indians (Yi), CII and Bharat Rising.

Building a Sustainable Future at XITE Gamharia! ♻️

The IQAC of XITE Gamharia (Autonomous) successfully organized an Awareness Session on Waste Management on 12th February 2025 in collaboration with Hulladek Recycling and Koru Foundation.

Resource persons Ms. Sadaf Khanam and Mr. Deepak from Koru Foundation enlightened 73 participants on sustainability, waste disposal and its impact on health and the environment. The session highlighted practical solutions for waste management, inspiring students to adopt eco-friendly practices.

XITE Gamharia's Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Initiative at Uparbeda Panchayat!

On 13th February 2025, the NSS Department of XITE Gamharia, under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, conducted a Survey and Cleanliness Drive at Uparbeda Panchayat.

Our dedicated volunteers cleaned public areas, including the school premises and engaged with the local community through a household survey to assess essential needs. The initiative aimed to promote hygiene, waste management and sustainable cleanliness practices.

A special thanks to NSS Officer Naval Narayan Choudhary, Headmistress Vibha Kumari, Assistant Teacher Namita Kumbhakar, Mohd. Sameer Ansari and all the enthusiastic volunteers for their invaluable contributions!

Honoring the Legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. 🕊️

On 30th January 2025, XITE Gamharia observed Martyr's Day to commemorate the sacrifices of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.

The ceremony began with a solemn assembly attended by Dr. (Fr.) E. A. Francis, SJ, Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, SJ, our faculty members and students. A heartfelt flower tribute was offered to Mahatma Gandhi, honoring his unwavering commitment to truth, non-violence and justice.

At XITE, we strive to keep his teachings alive, fostering values of peace, equality and service in our students. Let us continue to draw inspiration from his life and work towards building a better society.
