The Department of Mathematics, PDEU successfully concluded the two-day workshop on “Fundamentals of LaTeX for Scientific Writing – 2026”, held on 7–8 February 2026 at PDEU.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and engaging discussions, with a focus on effective scientific writing, document structuring, and best practices in LaTeX.

We sincerely thank our Expert Faculty Members for their insightful sessions and all the participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm.

Successful Completion of an Expert Lecture! ✨

The Department of Mathematics, PDEU organized an expert lecture on “Calculus in Action: Understanding Signals and Learning Algorithms” on 11th November 2025, delivered by Dr. Abhinava Srivastav from Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur.

The session offered deep insights into how calculus underpins signal processing and machine learning, emphasizing the interdisciplinary relevance of mathematics in modern technologies.

Special appreciation to the coordinators: Dr. Brajesh Kumar Jha and Dr. Vishakha Jadaun, for their efforts in successfully organizing the event.

🌟 Successful Completion of the Two-Day Workshop 🌟

We are delighted to share that the Two-Day Workshop on "Mathematical Foundation for Algorithms in Data Science using Python", held on 20th & 27th September 2025, at the School of Technology, PDEU, was successfully conducted with great participation and enthusiasm. 🎉
The workshop brought together Mathematics and Computer Science, where participants explored: 🔹 Mathematical Logic & Sets in Algorithm Design 🔹 Python Implementation of Logic and Set Operations 🔹 Mathematical Induction, Recursion & Complexity 🔹 Recursive Algorithms and Data Science Applications in Python
