On November 7, 2023, the School of Private, Industrial, and Corporate Security Management (SPICSM) organized a Fire Evacuation Cum Mock Drill in the New Building. The students of CBCS SEP - Fire Safety & Management actively took part in this mock drill. The safety and welfare of all individuals within our organization are our utmost priority, and conducting these drills is a proactive step to ensure our readiness for emergencies. This drill serves a dual purpose. Firstly, it validates the operational readiness of both active and passive fire safety equipment, ensuring their optimal functionality. Secondly, it establishes a systematic and safe procedure for the orderly evacuation of students and staff in the event of a fire or other unforeseen emergencies.

18 April 2023, Rashtriya Raksha University has awarded certificates to 45 women firefighters for successfully completing Firefighter Certificate Course for Women. The course was fully sponsored by RRU. The participants were from states of UP, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh. The course training was conducted at the Institute of Fire and Safety and Disaster Management Studies. The trainees were also given practical experience of working in fire services during their attachment with fire departments of industrial as well as municipal corporations. VC of RRU Prof. (Dr) Bimal N. Patel in the presence of Shri Vikram Mahurkar- IFSDMS President awarded certificates to women firefighters. The VC applauded the heroic performance of the women firefighters who during attachment rescued a woman attempting su***de as well as extinguished a major fire due to gas cylinder explosion.
