The 49th & 50th Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Adventure for youth (16โ€“22 years) at the EDII, goes beyond routine learning. Participants explore ideas, engage with entrepreneurs, and learn through hands-on experiences, real-world exposure, and guided sessions that build clarity, confidence, and practical thinking. Along the way, they develop essential skills like leadership, creativity, decision-making, and problem-solving while gaining deeper self-awareness and direction.

While most camps focus on activities, the Institute focuses on transformationโ€”helping young minds think, act, and grow like future entrepreneurs through experiential learning.

The institute marked its 44th Foundation Day with the release of two coffee table books, EDII Alumni Success Stories and 100 Successful Stories of Small Village Entrepreneurship Programme.

The books were released by Shri Kishor Kharat, Former President, EDII and Former MD & CEO, Indian Bank and IDBI Bank Ltd., as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, and senior faculty members.

The publications capture journeys of alumni entrepreneurs nurtured by the institute, highlighting enterprise creation across sectors and the impact of grassroots entrepreneurship in rural areas.

The Institute celebrated its 44th Foundation Day at its campus, marking over four decades of contribution to entrepreneurship development and capacity building across the country.

The celebration was graced by Shri Kishor Kharat, Former President, EDII and Former MD & CEO, Indian Bank and IDBI Bank Ltd., as the Chief Guest. He delivered a talk on โ€œHow to Succeed as an Entrepreneur,โ€ highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship, resilience, and innovation in shaping a strong and self-reliant India.

Also present were Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, along with faculty members, alumni, and other stakeholders associated with the institute.

Over the years, the institute has contributed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem through training, research, institution building, and enterprise support initiatives across sectors and regions. The Foundation Day served as an opportunity to reflect on this journey and reaffirm its continued focus on enabling entrepreneurship-led growth.

The Institute commemorated the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar paying tribute to his enduring vision of equality and empowerment.

The Event was graced by Dr. K. C. Poria, Vice-Chancellor, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan, along with Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII, and Dr. Satya Ranjan Acharya, Director, Department of Entrepreneurship Education, EDII.

Marking the significance of the day, the gathering reflected on Dr. Ambedkarโ€™s ideals while reinforcing the Instituteโ€™s continued commitment to fostering inclusive growth, knowledge, and entrepreneurial development.
