# # Learning Beyond Classrooms: A Cinematic Journey

# # # Movie Screening of *Governor*

A movie screening of *Governor* was organized for MBA students at the SJPI-NICM premises on Saturday, 29 August 2026, as part of the Institute's experiential learning initiatives. The session offered students an engaging opportunity to learn beyond the conventional classroom through cinema, reflection, and discussion.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the movie and actively participated in a post-screening discussion. The movie is based on the real situation of India's severe economic crisis of 1990–91. The post-movie discussion encouraged students to connect economic concepts and management theories with real-world events and leadership challenges.

For MBA students, the movie offered valuable lessons in **crisis management, strategic decision-making, risk assessment, problem-solving, stakeholder management, leadership, and resilience**. Thank you to our Director Ma'am (Dr Preeti Kulshrestha) for organising the experiential learning activity.
