Sneh Thapa is a freshman at Maitreyi College, Delhi University pursuing Sociology. She has been participating in MUNs since 2016. She believes that MUNs not only help an individual grow essential soft skills but also help one in understanding the world around them. She believes that the simulation of the UN is allowing young minds to discuss and analyse global issues. She firmly believes in the concept of learning more each day for learning never ends. Knowledge is an endless sea with a trillion possibilities and she calls it a constant effort wherein one must always make an attempt to row hard.
Rishabh Gupta is a Freshman at IIT Gandhinagar with a deep rooted passion for photography. He has solid skills necessary to shoot photographs and videos that are professional and compelling.

Introducing the panel of UN-HRC!
Harshil Shah is in his 3rd year of Engineering and for him, MUNs have been nothing but an escape from the monotony of academics. It's been 4 years since he has been into MUNs and he has always enjoyed the process of a Model UN, and the way it helps in shaping one's personality. He is a national level skater and a Formula1 enthusiast.

Shubham Surya is a 3rd-year liberal arts student who loves to listen as much as he loves to speak. He comes from Ujjain and has made his way to the circuit back from 2014. He likes to keep it low, calm and steady and is a pretty chill dude.

Sharvil Joshi is a class XII student at Udgam School for Children. Sharvil has always been interested in debating and MUNs and Model Parliaments were the way for him. He’s a debater who expects and encourages healthy discourse. He is a believer of the phrase that “Words Speak Volumes”. Sharvil always stands by his guard even though the whole room is against him. He wants to pave a way for a diplomatic environment among the millennials so as to encourage and enrich their speaking and problem-solving skills.

Siddhi Surawar is a BTech freshman at IIT Gandhinagar. She has always been interested in reading and debating world affairs and issues that concern the general public around the world. She is also a dramatist and professional badminton player.

Presenting the first committee of BlithMUN 2020.

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations system mandated to work for protection and promotion of all human rights. It has the responsibility to discuss all the important human rights issues and situations taking place in the world and take the necessary international action. With issues like slavery and lack of freedom of conscience, which violate basic human rights still being prominent around the world, this UN agency undoubtedly has an enormous responsibility.

The wait is over! We are elated to announce the dates of BlithMUN 2020 that is going to be held on 1st and 2nd of February, 2020.

Model United Nations(MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where participants become delegates of various countries across the seven continents. They are required to represent them in formal debate sessions across the two day event. It requires the skill of diplomacy, patience, the art of listening and counter-arguing.

BlithMUN is the flagship event of Blithchron, the cultural fest of IIT Gandhinagar. We strive to take our participants to a new level of self-analysis and holistic development. It is a destination for students to foster creativity and to establish an everlasting network with the delegates as well as with the dignitaries attached with BlithMUN.
