Our own LDRP alumni Hiren Madhu and Shrey Satpara have published and been able to contribute to Contextual Hate Speech Detection. Students at the undergrad level publishing in such a high-impact journal is indeed a proud moment for us and it indicates the progress LDRP has made as an institute.
The work has been published as "Detecting offensive speech in conversational code-mixed dialogue on social media: A contextual dataset and benchmark experiments" has been published in Expert System With Application, an Elsevier journal (impact factor 8.665). This work is done jointly with Prof Sandip Modha HOD Computer Dept who has been working in this area for a long time.

Our own LDRP alumnus Snehkumar Shahani from the 2011 batch has been awarded MTech+PhD (dual degree) by Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly University of Pune) in the area of Data Privacy. Sneh has received Prime Minister's Fellowship by Govt of India for this work. He has also done multiple publications and received travel and conference grants during the work.

Break The Barrier is a national-level hackathon organized by LDRP-ITR from 12th Aug '22 to 14th Aug'22.

Our goal is to create a community where major industry experts and cutting-edge coders can interact and work together to develop new technologies.

LDRP is hosting a national-level hackathon for the first time. The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication, time, and hard work of the students and faculty members who worked so hard to make it happen. LDRP ITR has extended full support for the event to make it a grand success. You are all cordially invited to the opening ceremony so that the next generation can carry on this legacy.

The event's opening ceremony will take place on the 12th of August from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mechanical Building Hall. Chairman sir, Principal ma'am, and chief guests would be addressing the event.

We are very proud to share that 2021 pass-out LDRP Students Mr. Manan Bharatkumar Darji and Miss Dhwani Natvarbhai Jakhaniya have got admission to IIT-Hyderabad for the 2-year Mtech program in the Department of Computer science and Engineering. We are extremely proud to announce that Ms. Mohana Dave, final year computer engineering student at LDRP-ITR has bagged admits for Masters in Management Information Systems (MIS) from prestigious universities across the world, including Carnegie Mellon University, Texas A & M (with scholarship), UMCP, UTD, and UIC. Niraj Singh Shekhawat, the final year student of the Electrical Department(LDRP-ITR), recently cleared the written UPSC CDS 1 2021 EXAM, conducted in February 2021 for selection of officers in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. The LDRP family wishes him a bright future.
