Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), formerly known as Pandit Deendayal Petroleum university (PDPU) has been established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act enacted on 4th April, 2007. The University offers programs to address the need for trained human resources in the domains of Science, Technology, Management and Humanities. It intends to broaden the opp

ortunities for students and professionals to develop core subject knowledge which are duly complemented by leadership training interventions, thereby helping the students to make a mark in the global arena. This objective is being further addressed through a number of specialized and well-planned undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs as well as intensive research projects.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University proudly congratulates our student, Subham Biswas, for his outstanding achievements in the field of Cybersecurity and Offensive Security Research.

A third-year B.Tech Computer Science student at PDEU, Subham has been actively contributing to the cybersecurity ecosystem through responsible vulnerability disclosure, cloud security research, and national-level cybersecurity competitions under the guidance of Dr. Pooja Shah.

His notable achievements include:
🔹 Hall of Fame recognition and bounty reward from Dassault Systèmes for responsibly disclosing a cloud IAM vulnerability in their production environment.

🔹 Invitation to GovTech Singapore’s prestigious Government Bug Bounty Program (GBBP17), focused on testing Singapore’s national digital infrastructure and Singpass SSO.

🔹 Grand Finalist (2×) at HackIITK, IIT Kanpur — representing PDEU among 1400+ teams and 9000+ participants in one of India’s largest cybersecurity hackathons.

🔹 Active participation in multiple private bug bounty programs and development of security-focused open-source tooling and automation frameworks.
