Assam down town University, through the Faculty of Commerce and Management, organised an inspiring session on โ€œThe Power to Manifestโ€ as part of the BBA Orientation Program.

The session was conducted by Ms. Aaliya (Ranjita Baruah), RJ, 92.7 BIG FM, who engaged students in an insightful conversation on the power of words, beliefs, energy and purposeful action in shaping oneโ€™s goals and aspirations. She encouraged students to cultivate a positive mindset, believe in their abilities and take meaningful steps towards turning their ambitions into reality.

The interactive discussions and engaging insights made the session both enriching and meaningful, setting an inspiring tone for the students as they embarked on their journey at Assam down town University.

The Erudite Literary Club, Assam down town University, observed Anti-Ragging Week on 18th August 2026 by organising a Debate Competition and an Essay Writing Competition to sensitise students about the harmful consequences of ragging and the importance of fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment. The program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Rizwan Ahmed and Dr. Tridisha Bayan.

The Debate Competition centred around the thought-provoking topic, โ€œStrict Institutional Discipline and Administrative Punishment Alone Can Eradicate Campus Ragging,โ€ encouraging students to critically discuss institutional regulations, disciplinary measures, student responsibility and the role of preventive awareness in creating a ragging-free campus. The Essay Writing Competition, themed โ€œRagging in the Digital World: From Campus Bullying to Cyber-Harassment,โ€ gave students an opportunity to explore the growing impact of cyberbullying, online humiliation, social-media harassment and other forms of technology-mediated abuse.
