Media Public School, vasundhara, Ghaziabad, organized MR vaccination programme against measles and rubella on 29 November, 2018 in the school premises. The campaign was launched as per the guidelines and directions of the Indian Government and the UP Government as an endeavour in collaboration with WHO and UNICEF to eradicate Measles, Rubella and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS).
A trained medical team from the government hospital administered the shot in the school premises and vaccinated the children between the age group of 9 months to 15 years. The parents also visited the school premises along with their children to get them vaccinated ..The efforts of the school Principal Mrs. Shruti Jain , trained Doctors, representatives of WHO and UNICEF, were lauded by the officials and the parents in making this campaign a grand success.
It was an endeavour to eliminate the transmission of measles and rubella among children and ensure a healthy and happy childhood.
