English Council, Department of English celebrated the 154th Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo by organizing a symposium and a poster competition on the theme “Sri Aurobindo’s Vision of Viksit Bharat.” Keynote speakers from Literature, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Science, Education, and other disciplines shared their perspectives on Sri Aurobindo’s vision and its contemporary relevance to the development of Viksit Bharat.

on Philosophy and Literature*
An Invited Lecture on the topic “Philosophy and Literature: Intersections of Thought and Imagination” was successfully organized by the English Council, Department of English, Sridev Suman University Campus, Gopeshwar (Chamoli) today.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Hariom Rawat. In his insightful address, Dr. Rawat highlighted the intrinsic relationship between philosophy and literature, emphasizing how literature reflects human thought and imagination while philosophy provides a deeper analytical and conceptual framework.
