Department of Food Processing and Technology offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. All the programs, well supported by functional infrastructure, have been designed to give both fundamental and applied knowledge in various areas of food processing so that after completion of their respective programs, students may either choose higher studies or explore career options in various sectors of food processing and allied industries.
Conferences, seminars, regular interaction with industry experts and plant visits provide our students an opportunity to understand the skillsets required for better career prospects. With food processing being a sector with immense scope for entrepreneurship opportunities, students are also supported by University Incubation Centre to launch and nurture their startups.
