From Sharda to Meta, Flipkart & InMobi: Neeraj Kushwaha Returns to His Alma Mater as Founder & CEO of third i

It was a proud moment for Sharda University to welcome back Mr. Neeraj K Kushwaha, PGDM in Marketing & Operations, 2008–2010, to his alma mater after many years.

With a career spanning some of the most recognised names in the digital and technology ecosystem, Neeraj has built extensive experience across InMobi, Flipkart, and Meta, working across business growth, digital sales, partnerships, performance advertising, and growth operations. He is now the Founder & CEO of third i, an AI-driven growth platform.

During his visit, Neeraj met with the university's leadership and faculty members and was impressed by the transformation and developments at Sharda University since his graduation. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss potential collaborations, industry connect, and areas of mutual synergy, leveraging his experience and professional network.

Alumni Interaction Session with Mr. Rahul Verma

The Alumni Cell at Sharda University was pleased to welcome Mr. Rahul Verma, B.Tech. EEE, 2010–2014 batch, and Associate Director at Indus Valley Partners, for an engaging interaction with our students.

With over 10 years of experience in the FinTech domain, Rahul shared valuable insights on technology, quality assurance, automation, DevOps, and evolving industry expectations. He guided students on the importance of continuous learning, hands-on experience, and staying updated with emerging technologies to build successful careers.

We thank Rahul for returning to his alma mater and sharing his professional journey and valuable guidance with our students.

Dr. Sunpreet Kaur (MSc Medical Microbiology, Batch 2012–2015) ranked 2nd in CGPSC 2022, serves as a Regular Demonstrator in Microbiology at Medical College, Ambikapur, and has authored 2 chapters in One Health & Antimicrobial Resistance: Confronting Global Threats with Local Actions.

We were thrilled to host Mr. Aditya Bagga, Founder of FILMESSENCE and a proud 2020 Animation graduate, for an exclusive Alumni Interaction presented by the Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment.

From luxury lifestyle shoots and brand commercials to cinematic wedding productions, Aditya brought his real-world experience back to where it all started. This session was a fantastic opportunity for our current students to dive into practical filmmaking, creative storytelling, and navigating career opportunities in the modern media landscape. 🚀🎥

From Sharda University to Amazon USA: Harnessing AI to Bridge Tech & Leadership

We were delighted to host our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Aditya Gaur (B.Tech CSE, Class of 2024), currently serving as an Area Manager at Amazon (USA), for an insightful guest lecture.

He offered a forward-looking view on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming operations and the future of work, highlighting its growing impact across industries. He also provided a practical roadmap for students, explaining how engineering graduates can evolve into managerial roles, pursue higher education opportunities, and build leadership careers in an AI-driven world.

The session effectively bridged the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, giving students a deeper understanding of real-world challenges, workplace dynamics, and emerging career opportunities in the technology and operations domain.

Students actively engaged in the discussion, gaining clarity on how to align their skills with industry needs and prepare for global career opportunities.

We were delighted to welcome Aditya Bagga an alumnus of B.Sc. - Animation & VFX (Class of 2020) back to his alma mater for an engaging and insightful interaction with the students of the School of Media, Film, and Entertainment.

Aditya, Founder of FILMESSENCE, shared his inspiring journey from starting as a freelancer to building a successful production house. Through his experience of working with a diverse range of clients, from boutique labels to major commercial brands, he offered students valuable insights into both the creative and business aspects of the industry.

During the session, he guided students on building a strong client base as a freelancer, transitioning into entrepreneurship, and exploring career opportunities in social media, filmmaking, shooting, and marketing domains.

He also actively engaged with students, answering their queries and encouraging them to pursue their interests with clarity and confidence. It was truly a pleasure hosting him on campus. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Aditya for his valuable time and continued support to Sharda University.
