InYou

InYou OPEN ARTS 'We' is a loose collective, and we'll use it loosely here. Something that we can all engage with--and create, when the environment is right..

We are a diverse group of creative people—film-makers, painters, sculptors, writers, actors—who happen to believe that the much misunderstood word, 'art', can also stand for something inclusive. We believe you have art “in you”. We would like to help tap into your passion, discover it. We speak a different language from conventional institutions. We have a purpose, not a syllabus.

Ankit Tiwari (Thane - Maharashtra) Student at Ctrl Alt Cinema :
I invariably loved capturing photos and then juxtaposing it with quotes, later I started creating slideshows with background music and slowly I started writing poems; got motivated after my poems got published in annual college magazine.
In college while pursuing B.Ed I started writing plays, short stories and acting but it was all at amateur level, then I got trained in acting; there are so many stories to tell but i think it should be structured properly with motion pictures and learning the craft is vital; before going ahead with any work, so I will be focusing on learning the craft.

Yash Indap (Mumbai) : Student at Ctrl Alt Cinema :

These three put together the technical, ideological as well as social elements of the craft and I believe that this workshop will help me better understand these elements through the analysis and critique of cinema, the technicality and practicality of it and expand my outlooks on the art itself thus enriching the ideological element as well.
