Photography is more than a hobby for me. I totally understand and know about the fierce competition in this field but I believe my dedication, passion and utmost love for this field will certainly set me apart from the crowd. Its a way of lifestyle for me, Photography has made me an excellent observer, The joy and pleasure of capturing the natures beauty is something different and totally out of this world. I honestly just cannot summarise my passion for this field, There is just something about capturing a smile, A smile that will last forever as a memory with me. Its just a feeling, A feeling that can not be ever expressed in words. Its heavenly. After all moments may last for a while but memories last forever.

I firmly believe in my talents and I’m willing to take the high road in order to become an absolute professional. It may take time and a lot of work which I’m willing to do.

When I was 13 years of age , my father bought a Sony SLR camera, there my journey begins to the world of photography. As i was a child I was not having much knowledge of clicking pictures I used to click funny pictures of my family members and just random pics of anything. Than my father planned a trip to Kashmir a beautiful place. I m very fond of travelling so I was really very excited and this time I am also having my camera to capture those beautiful memories. So here my journey begins for photography very close to nature I have clicked so many pictures on that trip. I had become a big nature lover.Yet many people, perhaps most people, search for something. For some reason, my search has taken me down a path of photographing landscapes, sharing what I learn and writing about the journey. We are all different.

For me, I know that photographing a landscape brings a sense of balance into my life. It for fills many needs in me, a need to build and create something. A need to be closely in touch with those things in life which are real and natural. Photography for fills a need in me to escape and have time-out, time for me. It enables my learning to wander, explore and discover.

Photography is perhaps a reaction to the need in me to say that our world is not at all bad that in fact, it is a very beautiful and good world in which to live in. It brought me closer to the nature's beauty which I will not be able to see in my studies. Photography is also my way to leave a mark on the world after I am gone, that somehow my beautiful photographs are evidence that I was here and I had something to say and to share with others. My life was not just about work and play, there was something more.

I have been taking pictures and videos since I was 10. At first it was just to document moments - time spent with my friends and family, anything unusual I'd see when I was out - but now I rarely take pictures of humans, not because I am a literally living breathing hermit(okay maybe not literal) I'd rather take pictures of nature or like, animals, or like animals in nature. But lately I rarely take pictures, because it feels like every picture that can be taken has been taken. Maybe this is a booming population thing or the world is too small thing, but I'd rather read bad memes on Reddit than actually take pictures.
This photo was taken at this resort I went to in my summer vacation this year. That is my hand - totally didn't look weird posing for it - and I took it with my dslr(probably the only time I used my camera voluntarily this year)

I walk, I look, I see, I stop, I photograph. It has been 4 years since I started photography. It all started from my 13th birthday, when I brought a Nikon shoot and point camera. The reason behind purchasing a camera was because I was fascinated with tourist coming to Agra with big-big DSLR’s to capture the Taj and I just felt like buying a camera. I had no intensions of being a photographer.
Eventually I started photographing monuments in Agra and clicking my sister, friend’s etc. Soon my work started getting appreciated and more importantly I was enjoying what I was doing. I attended many photography courses, reading about other photographs, joining photography clubs.
Then after 2 years I bought my first DSLR camera.
That was the time when I entered in a completely new world of photographers. It seemed like i was destined to do photography. My work then started getting featured in magazines, newspapers, exhibitions etc. And now I have reached at such a point that photography is huge part of my life. It means a lot more than just clicking photo to me. It gives me peace.
Being a photographer, you need to be very observant. A photographer is a person who writes with light. One powerful photograph can bring a change in this world. And I believe that I can bring a change with clicking photographs.
My passion keeps me going and photographing. I hope, I never lose it.

My life as a photographer begun on my 18th b'day when my PAPA gifted me a DSLR. I was always a geek about new gadgets and so i had a great excitement of unboxing it. When i first held the DSLR in my hands i was blown away by the functionalities it had, the amount of control i had in my shots, something which i always anticipated. To be practical when i took my very first shot it was nothing special as it was in the excitement of the moment but when I actually took my first shot(seriously) i was thinking about all those great photos I've been seeing on Facebook feeds and instagram and whatever, i was starting to feel that creativity that was within me and it was one of those rare moments of my life or say a life changing moment.

Hello,This is one of the best shots I have taken till date.
I never started photography, I just love clicking pictures whatever I find beautiful and thus with time I improved.
I perceive photography as a way to show the world how I see it and the photographs I take are reflection of my emotions.
I took this picture because it felt like the best sunset iI had seen, it felt peaceful and calming.

I have been the family photographer since childhood. My first proper shot as I remember was with a handicam and it was of my parents playing in a beach in Kerala. That shot of mine was liked by all and is still one of my mother's favorite snapshot.
In September last year my first point and shoot camera. Ever since my responsibilities as a family photographer has increased tremendously.

Photography for me is an art that captures the moment as it is. It allows me to cherish that memory for eternity like it was at that instant. The mighty time also stands still in a photograph. Thereby, proving that the power a photographer has is humongous.
You're making memories not only for yourself but it might just bring a smile on another's. This photograph I have taken is in Manali, a beautiful Hill station, with it's breathtaking views. Maybe in the coming days, the snow melts away, taking the greenery with it but at least they will know it existed at some point. I have captured the beauty of the mountains in this breathtaking photograph and I hope I made you cringe for going on a trek soon too.
