On the 9th of March, 2022, students of PGDM-IB batch 2021-23 visited Ananda Dairy, Khurja with Prof. Manoj Pant, faculty Sales & Distribution Management.
The visit was intended to provide students the opportunity to experience the 3-tier Milk Distribution Pattern (Village-level cooperative societies, District milk-processing unions & State Marketing federation).
The officials of the Ananda gave the students a thorough tour of the Milk Collection center and the Milk Processing plant, while simultaneously showing them different departments and processes being carried out at the different levels.

We thank Prof. Manoj Pant and all the Ananda Ltd. executives for organizing this insightful industrial visit.

On the 25th of February, 2021, students of PGDM-IB batch 2020-22 visited Inland Container Depot (ICD), Dadri.
CONCOR India is a multimodal logistics and supply chain PSU under the Ministry of Indian Railways that has a 51% stake in the company and the remaining is held by the private stakeholders.

The students were then taken to visit the container stack where the students could see live shifting of the containers with the help of crane post clearance by the CONCOR. This left the students spell bound.

Students were also taken to visit the CFS or the Container Freight Station and the he visit ended with a visit to the Re**er parks of ICD Dadri, something that makes them stand unique as compared to the other ICDs spread across the country. This visit was the first official industrial visit for the students who were in the campus during the pandemic times.

Hearing out Dr. Rajat Kathuria, Director and Chief Executive, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi on measures to enhance India's Export in the backdrop of India's New Foreign Trade Policy.

The government extended the existing foreign trade policy for one year till March 2021 amid the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown to contain its spread. The government is targeting to increase the exports to USD one trillion in coming years. Students of BIMTECH-Birla Institute of Management Technology- International Business shall be interacting with Dr. Rajat Kathuria, Director and Chief Executive, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) on 10 Oct on Measures to enhance India's Export in the backdrop of New Foreign Trade Policy.

Dr. Kathuria has over 20 years experience in teaching and 15 years experience in economic policy, besides research interests on a range of issues relating to regulation and competition policy. He has worked with the World Bank, Washington DC as a Consultant and carried out research assignments for a number of international organizations, including ILO, UNCTAD, Lirne Asia, World Bank and ADB.
