Walls direct our movement, and when that movement becomes intuitive, walls direct our thinking. Just as we cannot see all sides of a wall at once, we often fail to see all of its functions. Totem-pole invites you to ‘Walls have Whips’, a session held in SIGMA, where we shall explore the many meanings that a single wall, or a lack there of, can entail. Join us as we try and explore the juxtaposition of architecture and power and negotiate the question- where there is a wall, how does it shape the way?

SIGMA Session 2 - Donald J. Trump; The 45th President of the United States Of America. Love him or hate him, you have an opinion already. But what is the extent to which opinions stand in the face of truth? How quick are we to judge what is eccentric or irregular?
Join us in this venture with the MUNSOC, as we try to find a few answers by looking past the narrative, analysing the history of the office of the Presidency itself post World War 2 through the eyes of the "third world". Along the way maybe even asking ourselves how big a difference a change in perspective can bring.

Attend the session in SIGMA for an experience of understanding why we love our favorite artists and songs and what emotional reaction they bring out in us by exploring the buttsex - we mean subtext - present in the lyrics and music and then understanding the socio political context in which they exist.
