Client Counselling Competition 2026 | GNALSR

The Client Counselling Competition 2026 was successfully organised at Greater Noida Academy of Legal Studies & Research (GNALSR), GNIOT Group of Institutions, on 5th October 2026.

The competition provided law students with a valuable platform to demonstrate their legal acumen. The competition comprised three rounds - Preliminary, Semi-Final and Final, evaluated by 12 esteemed judges from the legal fraternity and academia.

The event was further honoured by the presence of Hon’ble Justice R. K. Gauba, Chief Guest, and Adv. Bharat Chugh, Guest of Honour, whose presence and insights greatly inspired the participants and students.

The competition witnessed the participation of 23 external participants, with 16 GNALSR students serving as clients. In all, around 120 students participated in or attended the event.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the judges, guests, participating students, clients, volunteers and members of the organising team for making the competition a memorable success.

Students of GNALSR had an insightful Police Station Visit at Beta-2 Police Station, Gautam Budh Nagar, offering them valuable exposure to the practical functioning of the criminal justice system under the guidance of our respected Dean, Prof. Dr. Kalpana Rani Jayas ma’am.

During the visit, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Inspector (Crimes) and Mr. Atul, Inspector (Cyber Cell), interacted with the students and explained various aspects of police functioning, investigation procedures, cyber crimes, complaint registration, and the role of the police in the administration of justice.

Such field visits bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and practical understanding, enabling students to observe how laws and legal procedures operate in real-life situations. They also help students develop a deeper understanding of criminal investigation, cyber law, policing, and the justice delivery mechanism.

A valuable experience for our future legal professionals.
