Galgotias University has strengthened its position among the world's leading institutions advancing sustainable development, securing a place in the 401-600 global band in the Times Higher Education Impact Ratings 2026. Assessed among 1,603 institutions worldwide, the University was evaluated across all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring its commitment to creating positive impact at local, national, and global levels.
Strongest performance in the 101-200 global band: SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
Ranked in the 201-300 global band: SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
The University was also ranked among the Top 27 Private Universities in India in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, reinforcing its growing reputation for academic excellence, research, innovation, industry engagement, and global outlook.
