Sharda University hosted “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat”, an initiative focused on raising awareness against substance abuse and encouraging young people to choose healthier, more responsible lives.

The event reinforced the role of youth in building a drug-free, aware and progressive India, where positive choices today contribute to a stronger Viksit Bharat tomorrow.

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, in collaboration with the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate, successfully organised the Annual Programme of the Family Dispute Resolution Clinic (FDRC).

The programme brought together legal professionals, police officials, counsellors, academicians, and students to reflect on the journey and impact of the FDRC while reinforcing the importance of counselling, mediation, reconciliation, and peaceful resolution of family disputes.

We were honoured to welcome Dr. Babita Singh Chauhan, Hon’ble Chairperson, Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women, and Ms. Suneeti (IPS), DCP, U.P. Police Commissionerate, as distinguished guests.

With the participation of 350+ students, the programme highlighted the collective commitment towards family welfare, restorative justice, and community-based dispute resolution.

We couldn’t have been more stunned, people!

Ek Lamhaa Zindagi – A Love Story 1938–1979 felt so real that, for a while, it didn’t even feel like we were watching a play.

The emotions, the pauses, the expressions, the intensity, everything pulled the audience right into the story.

Ms. Juhi Babbar Soni brought such honesty and depth to the stage that the love story felt lived, not performed.

What an experience. What a performance. What an evening at Sharda University!
