🚀 Mechanical Engineering Internship Spotlight: Sonu Kumar Rana 🚀
At Gumla Polytechnic, we are committed to placing our students at the forefront of the latest technological revolutions. We are proud to share that Sonu Kumar Rana, a 6th-semester student from our Mechanical Engineering department, is currently undergoing a high-impact Industrial Internship at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEML). 🛠️⚡

In alignment with the NEP-2020 based syllabus of the Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi, this 12–16 week internship (36 hours per week) is an essential requirement for the award of his Diploma in Engineering. Training with a pioneer like Tata Passenger Electric Mobility allows Sonu to gain firsthand experience in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of the future of transportation.

गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज में विश्व पृथ्वी दिवस के अवसर पर छात्रों को प्रकृति के संरक्षण हेतु जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज ने 22 अप्रैल 2026 को विश्व पृथ्वी दिवस बड़े उत्साह और छात्रों तथा शिक्षकों की सक्रिय भागीदारी के साथ मनाया। यह कार्यक्रम कॉलेज के सेमिनार हॉल में आयोजित किया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य युवाओं में पर्यावरण जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना और प्रकृति के संरक्षण हेतु छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करना था।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत प्राचार्य डॉ. शिबा नारायण साहू और संस्थान के मुख्य प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अजीत कुमार शुक्ल द्वारा औपचारिक दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ हुई, जो ज्ञान, आशा और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक था। इस वर्ष की गतिविधियों का विषय, "हमारी शक्ति, हमारा ग्रह (Our Power, Our Planet)”, छात्रों को प्राकृतिक संसाधनों की रक्षा करने और एक हरित भविष्य के निर्माण में अपनी भूमिका पर विचार करने के लिए प्रेरित करता था।

सिविल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग के शिक्षक अंकित कुमार ने एक जानकारीपूर्ण पावरपॉइंट प्रस्तुति दी। उनकी प्रस्तुति ने प्रमुख पर्यावरणीय चुनौतियों और व्यावहारिक समाधानों पर प्रकाश डाला, जिससे यह सत्र आकर्षक और शिक्षाप्रद दोनों बन गया।

इस कार्यक्रम में इस अवसर पर आयोजित निबंध लेखन और चित्रकला प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह भी शामिल था।

तीसरा पुरस्कार संयुक्त रूप से दिया गया - संजना कुमारी (Electrical Engg.) और राजनंदिनी कुमारी (Civil Engg.),
दूसरा पुरस्कार - प्रिंस कुमार ठाकुर (Electrical Engg.) और
पहला पुरस्कार - स्नेहल आर्यन श्रीवास्तव (BCA) ।

*चित्रकला प्रतियोगिता के विजेता -*
तीसरा पुरस्कार - आकांक्षा कुमारी (Civil Engg.),
दूसरा पुरस्कार - सागर कुमार झा (Mechanical Engg.), और
पहला पुरस्कार - आशीष किंडो (Civil Engg.) ।
