Industrial Tour 2026 | CHIPS, Chowdavaram
The students of Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CHIPS), Chowdavaram, accompanied by faculty members, successfully completed a three-day Industrial Tour in Hyderabad, combining academic excellence, research exposure, spiritual enrichment, and recreation. The programme commenced with visits to Healing PharmaTech Pvt. Ltd. and Harmoni Analytical Pvt. Ltd., where students gained first-hand experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, and modern industrial operations. They explored advanced production equipment and sophisticated analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Dissolution Test Apparatus, and Chromeleon software, while understanding their applications in pharmaceutical analysis, stability studies, validation, calibration, and data integrity.
On the second day, the students visited CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, where they interacted with eminent scientists and researchers and witnessed cutting-edge research facilities featuring NMR, GC-MS, Flash Chromatography, and other advanced analytical and bioanalytical techniques, strengthening their understanding of pharmaceutical research and innovation. The day concluded with a spiritually enriching visit to Swarnagiri Temple, where students participated in the divine Swamy Vari Pallaki Seva and Pavalimpu Seva of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.
The final day offered a perfect blend of learning and leisure as students enjoyed an exciting outing at Wonderla Hyderabad, creating memorable experiences while strengthening teamwork and camaraderie. The programme successfully bridged classroom learning with industrial practice, inspiring students toward professional excellence.
