SGT College of Pharmacy successfully organized a two-day Industry-Oriented Training Program on Pharmaceutical Regulatory Practices & Documentation under the aegis of the Industry Advisory Board at Unicure India Ltd., Greater Noida on 19th & 20th May 2026.
The program provided M.Pharm students from Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs with valuable industrial exposure and practical insights into GMP, GDP, regulatory documentation, and current pharmaceutical industry practices. The interactive sessions and industrial learning experience significantly enhanced the students’ understanding of real-time regulatory operations and professional expectations in the pharmaceutical sector.
We sincerely express our gratitude to the management and experts of Unicure India Ltd. for their valuable support and guidance throughout the training program. The training program was successfully convened by Dr. Bindiya Chauhan, IAB Coordinator, and coordinated by Mr. Shankar.

SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University organized a vibrant and memorable Farewell Celebration "The Turning Page" on 15th May 2026 for the outgoing students of B.Pharm, M.Pharm, D.Pharm, and the first passing-out batch of Pharm.D students.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from pre-final and final-year students who made the celebration special through energetic dance performances, musical presentations, fun games, and an exciting ramp walk by the seniors. The programme created beautiful memories filled with joy, appreciation, and togetherness.

SGT College of Pharmacy, under the aegis of the Industry Advisory Board, is organising a 2-day Industry-Oriented Training Program on Pharmaceutical Regulatory Practices & Documentation in collaboration with Unicure India Ltd., Greater Noida, on 19th & 20th May 2026. Technology Transfer Cell, Research and Development Cell in collaboration with SGT College of Pharmacy organised an expert talk on “Process of Innovation, TRL and Technology Transfer”. The event held on Tuesday, 27th February, 2026 in Block-D, SGT University. The main objective of this event was to familiarize the students with trends in technology development and technology transfer from laboratory to industry.
The eminent speaker in event was Ms. Suman Gupta, Chief Operations Officer, BioNEST Bio- Incubator, Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana. In her address, Ms. Sunita explained different stages of product development and elaborated Technology Readiness levels with appropriate examples. She further explained how the technology transfer from innovator to industry takes place.
The lecture was further enlightened by the questions - answer session giving chance to participants to clear their doubts regarding innovation and technology transfer. More than 40 participants including faculty members and students of M. Pharm, B. Pharm and Pharm. D attended the event with interest and zeal. The lecture was very informative and students learned the process of innovation development and various aspects of technology commercialization.

SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University successfully celebrated National Technology Day 2026 on 11th–12th May 2026 on the theme “Smart Technology-Driven Personalized Medicine and Pharmaceutical Innovation and IPR” with the support of HSCSIT, Directorate of Science & Technology, Govt. of Haryana.

Day-1 witnessed enthusiastic student participation in various competitions including Pharma Reel Making, Pharma Quiz, Debate Competition, Treasure Hunt, Pharma Essay Writing, and Poster Competition. Winners were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in each event.

Day-2 featured keynote speeches and an engaging panel discussion by distinguished industry experts on innovation, AI-driven pharmaceutical technologies, IPR, and entrepreneurship. The programme was graced by Guest of Honour Dr. Rahul Taneja, Registered Patent & Trademark Agent and Scientist, HSCSIT.

The eminent resource persons included:
• Dr. Arshia Bhandari – Founder, PhVfit; Pharmacovigilance Consultant
• Dr. Sakshi Rastogi – Techno Domain Consultant, Life Sciences

The National Technology Day programme was coordinated by Dr. Ravi Kant, Dr. Vineeta Meena, Dr. Rupa Gupta, and Dr. Reena Badhwar.

The event provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their scientific thinking, communication skills, innovation mindset, and awareness regarding emerging pharmaceutical technologies and intellectual property rights.

Day 2 of the 4th National Conference of Pharmacy Practice at SGT University showcased insightful discussions, innovation, and strong industry-academia interaction.
The day was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Shri Anurag Khera (Glenmark Pharmaceuticals), Dr. Praveen Kulkarni (ICMR), Dr. Ravi Rathod, Dr. Monika Bahl, Dr. Vinod Kumar Gauttam, and Dr. Madhusudan Purohit.
Plenary sessions and an engaging townhall with leading experts provided valuable real-world insights into clinical research and career pathways.

We are delighted to share the successful completion of Day 1 of the 4th National Conference of Pharmacy Practice on the theme “Navigating Excellence in Clinical Research” held on 30th April 2026 and organized by SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University, in collaboration with Shodh Clinical Solutions LLP and Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association.
The inaugural day was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Atul Kumar Nasa, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SGT University, Prof. Vijay Bhalla, Registrar, SGT University, Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar Gauttam, Dean, SGT College of Pharmacy, Prof. (Dr.) Madhusudan Purohit, Dean Academics & Dean-DPSR, and Dr. Monika Bahl, Founder Director, Shodh Clinical Solutions LLP, along with our Chief Guest Prof. Sangeeta Sharma, whose valuable insights and encouraging words inspired all participants.
