The University will impart modern, practical and research-based courses which will lead to the development of manpower which is employable and ready for industry. Presently, more than 80,000 Students study in 240 programs across 22 Amity campuses spread over 1000 Acres of land with more than 4.5 million sq. More than 3500 faculty and staff members are dedicated to making Amity institutions world class and include leaders such as 12 former vice chancellors of renowned universities including Roorkee University, the former vice chairman of the AICTE, 12 former Generals of the Indian Army, IAS and IPS officers, renowned scientists, former CEOs of PSUs and of course many brilliant academicians. Amity imparts education in almost all areas including management, engineering, biotechnology, law, communication, insurance, nanotechnology, behavioral science, fine arts etc. The Amity Business School and the Amity Institute of Biotechnology have both been ranked No.1 in the country among private institutes. The Amity Institute of Telecommunication and Technology Management has also been ranked among the top in the country and The Amity School of Engineering has been ranked No. 1 in terms of placements. Amity provides industry oriented professional courses and is at the cutting edge of innovation. The first Masters program in nanotechnology was started by Amity. Amity was also the first in the country to start a program in cyber law and the first to launch an insurance institute. This industry-oriented approach has ensured that Amity has 100% placements.

Amity University Gurugram successfully organized Startup Conclave 2026 to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students and aspiring entrepreneurs. The conclave brought together startup founders, investors, mentors, industry experts, and students on a common platform. The panel discussion featured Mr. Anurag Panday, Founder & CEO, IncubatX; Mr. Ansh Talreja, Founder & CEO, Soonicorn Ventures; and Mr. Anish Thomas, Investor & Founder, The Startup Mitra. The panelists shared valuable insights on startup growth, fundraising, investment, and scaling businesses. A major highlight of the event was the Startup Showcase, featuring ventures such as Connect Media, Hang In, Crumb Happens, Mind Mining. Student entrepreneurs also displayed their innovative products, including Banquet by Nidhi Goel, Jewellery & Charms by Sayyari, Resin Art by Rishika, and Wooden Clock & Resin Art by Anu and Arshiya. The event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to interact with experts and showcase their ideas. The Startup Conclave 2026 reflected Amity University Gurugram’s commitment to building a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and inspiring students to transform their ideas into successful ventures.

Shaping Young Minds for a Viksit Bharat 2047

At Diksharambh 2026, Amity University Gurugram had the privilege of hosting Hon’ble Shri Akhilesh Mishra, Former Ambassador to Ireland, for an insightful session on “Young Minds of India: Leadership, Innovation and India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.”

The interaction explored India’s growing role in global education and technology, the changing landscape of international education, opportunities and challenges for Indian students pursuing education abroad, and the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence.

From diplomacy and global opportunities to innovation and responsible use of AI, the session offered valuable perspectives to help our students think beyond boundaries and prepare for the future.
