It is an academic and research institute offering on-campus, eLearning and short term training programs to augment the institutional public health capacity in India. The Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi (IIPH-D) initiated its operations on November 1, 2008 with the launch of the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics, Health Care Financing and Health Policy Program targeted at mid-caree
r health professionals. Since then, IIPH-D has expanded its activities and is engaged teaching, training, research, advocacy and policy formulations in different areas of public health. IIPHD offers various on-campus programs, distance learning diploma/certificate programs and, short and long-term training programs in the field of public health. Faculty members at IIPH-Delhi are with wide experiences ranging from Public Health, Community Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Management, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Health Policy, Health Social Sciences, Anthropology and Public Health Nutrition. Strong multidisciplinary teams representing major public health disciplines, with a broad range of technical and academic expertise, enable a multidimensional perspective to enrich the educational and research programs at the institute.
