The Department of Psychology at IILM University, Gurugram, through CECS, organised an industry visit to Posterity Consulting, Noida, (Posterity) giving students specialising in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources a closer look at career opportunities for psychology graduates in the corporate world.

From HR analytics and consumer psychology to employee well-being and talent development, students explored how psychological principles inform workplace practices. An interactive Q&A with industry professionals also offered insights into the skills and competencies needed to build a career in the corporate sector.

Pulkit Sharma, Kanishk Patel, Harmanjot Kaur and Rajan Kumar from the School of Computer Science & Engineering have earned the Platinum Prize at the Tech Business Idea Pitch Competition organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India).

Their idea, Kisna Seva, is a farmer-centric digital platform designed to support informed agricultural decision-making through weather-based crop planning, soil health recommendations, and real-time mandi price comparisons.

What happens when AI moves from the classroom into the practice of law?

The School of Law at IILM University, Gurugram, hosted a two-hour expert session, “Practical Approaches to Integrate AI in the Legal Profession”, led by Adv Alvin Antony, Chief Compliance Officer, GovernAI.

The session moved beyond theoretical discussions to explore how AI can be approached through practical tools, legal research, compliance, and professional practice, giving students and faculty a closer look at the changing relationship between law and technology.

Nova eSports, the eSports club of IILM University, Gurugram, brought the campus into gaming mode with a two-day BGMI Tournament, organised in collaboration with NODWIN Gaming, with Monster Energy as the official energy partner.

The School of Management at IILM University, Gurugram, hosted a guest session by Dr S. Y. Quraishi, (S Y Quraishi) Former Chief Election Commissioner of India and Chancellor Emeritus, on “Future and Scope of Social Marketing”.

The session explored how marketing principles can be applied to influence positive social change, with discussions around sustainability, ethical consumption, social responsibility, and community well-being.

What does cybersecurity look like beyond the classroom?

The School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram, hosted an industry-led hands-on training programme on Network Traffic Analysis, Threat Detection and Incident Response using Wireshark, under the Centre of Excellence, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.

Led by Ms Samjhana Pokharal, Associate Specialist, CDOC, Concentrix, (Concentrix India) the session brought industry experience in Security Operations, Threat Hunting, Threat Detection, and Incident Response into the learning environment.

The training focused on how network traffic analysis is applied in real-world Security Operations Centre and security investigation environments, giving students an opportunity to connect technical concepts with practical cybersecurity applications.

From analysing network traffic to understanding threat detection and incident response, the experience brought students closer to the realities of cybersecurity practice.

When research meets real-world problem-solving, ideas take on a new dimension.

Rudraksh Sachdeva and Shivansee from the School of Computer Science & Engineering presented their research paper, “A Statistical Framework for Detecting Concept Drift in Real-Time Predictive Systems”, at the International Conference on Multidisciplinary Scientific Research and Innovation 2026, hosted by K.R. Mangalam University (K.R. Mangalam University).

Their research proposes a statistical framework combining the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, Population Stability Index, and Kullback-Leibler Divergence to support early detection of concept drift in real-time machine learning systems.

A meaningful student achievement shaped by research, analytical thinking, and the opportunity to engage with contemporary challenges in technology.
