BML Munjal University Named after the founder of the Hero Group, Brijmohan Lall Munjal, BML Munjal University The University will be launched in two phases.

BML Munjal University (BMU) is a fully residential, co-educational university which aims to present an exciting alternative to the traditional university model. Named after the Hero Group co-founder and chairman, Brij Mohan Lall Munjal, BMU will be engaged in creating, preserving and imparting internationally-benchmarked knowledge and skills to a diverse community of students from across the world. The University will create an innovative and stimulating teaching-learning environment for transforming students into well-rounded, industry-ready individuals. The School of Engineering & Technology, School of Management and School of Commerce will be established in Phase I, in 2014. Four additional schools are proposed to be added in Phase II:

School of Art, Architecture & Design
School of Natural Sciences
School of Law

Through innovative instruction, applied research, and best-in-class academic and industry partnerships, the University will create an empowered teaching-learning environment for interdisciplinary, transformational, and holistic learning. Hands-on learning will be a hallmark of all degrees offered in the University. Students will have the flexibility of choosing electives from other schools. Further, industry liaisons will enable the students to get a practical education based in current practice. Imperial College London will mentor the School of Management and play an active role in co-designing the curriculum and content, facilitate student and faculty development programmes, conduct joint research activities and establish the latest teaching platforms. Significantly, 25 BMU BTech students will have the opportunity to undertake a one-year MSc programme at the Imperial College Business School.There will also be opportunities to join innovation camps and pursue credit-based courses in London. BMU will also establish industry-promoted Centres of Excellence on campus, where students will be exposed to the latest technologies, real-life projects and hands-on learning. The first such centre is being set up in partnership with Siemens PLM Software. The campus is located at 67 KM Stone, District Gurgaon, Haryana on the Delhi-Jaipur highway (NH-8), about 50 kms from the Delhi international airport. Website

Semiconductors are defining what comes next, and our students are getting closer to the ecosystem driving it.

Our engineering students were part of SEMICON India 2026, engaging with the evolving semiconductor and electronics ecosystem and gaining valuable exposure to the technologies and opportunities shaping the industry.

They explored semiconductor technology, chip design, electronics manufacturing, embedded systems and emerging technologies, while interacting with industry professionals and attending technical sessions. The experience took learning beyond the classroom, connecting concepts with real-world applications, industry perspectives and the possibilities emerging in India’s semiconductor ecosystem.

That’s where education begins to become more than a degree, it becomes a way of understanding the world and finding your place in what comes next.

One screen. A thousand risks. And a conversation worth having.

Through “Ek Screen. Hazaar Khatre.”, our students brought the realities of digital life to the streets, exploring social media addiction, online safety and cyber fraud through drama and humour.

Presented by the School of Law in collaboration with NSS and Mrityunjay, the nukkad natak encouraged us to look beyond individual responsibility and question the digital systems we engage with every day.

Confidence grows quietly, in every moment you choose to step up and figure it out.

For Palak Wadhwani (B.Tech CSE, 2023), university brought lessons that couldn’t always be planned. A scholarship gave her an early sense of confidence, while experiences outside the classroom taught her to adapt, take responsibility and trust herself.

As one experience led to another, she found herself organising events, getting more involved, and becoming part of the community around her. And somewhere along the way, BMU began to feel like home.

That was Palak’s Major in Life, not one defining moment, but all the moments that taught her to trust herself a little more.

64 teams. 384 students. One campus full of ideas waiting to be tested.

BML Munjal University recently hosted the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026 Internal Round, giving students the opportunity to work on real-world problem statements and develop solutions in an intensive hackathon environment.

The Internal Round was conducted in collaboration with the School of Engineering & Technology (SOET), Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I2E), Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), and Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC).

For the students involved, the experience was about taking an idea off the page and putting it to the test.

The ideas may have started on campus. Their potential extends far beyond it.
