BML Munjal University (BMU) is a fully residential, co-educational university which aims to present an exciting alternative to the traditional university model. Named after the Hero Group co-founder and chairman, Brij Mohan Lall Munjal, BMU will be engaged in creating, preserving and imparting internationally-benchmarked knowledge and skills to a diverse community of students from across the world

. The University will create an innovative and stimulating teaching-learning environment for transforming students into well-rounded, industry-ready individuals. The School of Engineering & Technology, School of Management and School of Commerce will be established in Phase I, in 2014. Four additional schools are proposed to be added in Phase II:
School of Liberal Arts
School of Art, Architecture & Design
School of Natural Sciences
School of Law

Through innovative instruction, applied research, and best-in-class academic and industry partnerships, the University will create an empowered teaching-learning environment for interdisciplinary, transformational, and holistic learning. Hands-on learning will be a hallmark of all degrees offered in the University. Students will have the flexibility of choosing electives from other schools. Further, industry liaisons will enable the students to get a practical education based in current practice. Imperial College London will mentor the School of Management and play an active role in co-designing the curriculum and content, facilitate student and faculty development programmes, conduct joint research activities and establish the latest teaching platforms. Significantly, 25 BMU BTech students will have the opportunity to undertake a one-year MSc programme at the Imperial College Business School. There will also be opportunities to join innovation camps and pursue credit-based courses in London. BMU will also establish industry-promoted Centres of Excellence on campus, where students will be exposed to the latest technologies, real-life projects and hands-on learning. The first such centre is being set up in partnership with Siemens PLM Software. The campus is located at 67 KM Stone, District Gurgaon, Haryana on the Delhi-Jaipur highway (NH-8), about 50 kms from the Delhi international airport. Website

Field-based research begins with engaging closely with realities beyond the classroom.

We are pleased to share that Anjel Minj and Meher Rehman, second-year students from the B.A. (Hons.) Liberal Studies programme at BML Munjal University, have been selected for the prestigious Abhijit Sen Rural Internship.

Organised by the National Foundation of India in memory of Prof. Abhijit Sen, one of India’s most influential development economists and public policy thinkers, the internship brings together a select group of students from across the country for field research centred on rural communities and public policy.

Participants work directly with communities through sustained engagement with communities and on-ground research, developing a deeper understanding of socio-economic realities and the policy questions that emerge from them. Selected through a rigorous national-level process, Anjel and Meher were among 50 candidates chosen nationwide.

Experiences like these remain central to how students at BMU approach research and engagement with public issues.

Congratulations to Anjel and Meher on this recognition.

One campus. Multiple companies. Endless opportunities.

The Practice School-II Recruitment Fair at BMU brought students and industry partners together for a day full of internship opportunities, interviews, networking, and real-world exposure.

From exploring different roles to interacting directly with recruiters, students got the chance to experience what industry-ready learning truly looks like.

A big thank you to all our industry partners for being part of the journey.

TechSparX.II 2026 brought together innovation, experimentation, and interdisciplinary engineering through projects that moved beyond concepts into real-world application.

From AI & Public Safety and Smart Mobility to IoT, Healthcare Technologies, and Human-Centred Design, students presented functional prototypes shaped through collaboration, empathy-driven thinking, and hands-on problem solving.

Built through BMU’s Joy of Engineering (JoE) curriculum and aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, the showcase reflected BMU’s commitment to learning by doing, where classrooms become spaces for experimentation, ideas evolve through making, and engineering is understood through application.

More than a technology showcase, TechSparX.II 2026 demonstrated how purposeful learning can lead to solutions with meaningful real-world impact.

National Technology Day 2026 draws attention to how technology continues to influence the way people live and work.

In our robotics lab, BTech students recently worked on designing a humanoid robotic arm by studying how the human arm moves and how precision is controlled before translating those principles into an engineered system.

Projects like these reflect how engineering at BMU moves beyond theory and into real-world application.

At BMU, we call this the joy of engineering.

The deepest forms of love are often the quietest.

Sacrifices made without announcement, comfort offered without being asked for, and strength given while expecting nothing in return.

Behind countless journeys is a mother who chose us, again and again, in ways we only begin to understand with time.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women whose love stays with us through every stage of life.

Some legacies remain relevant far beyond their time.

Rabindranath Tagore’s work continues to influence the way people think about creativity and education while remaining deeply relevant to conversations around human expression.

His birth anniversary was observed through a recital and sculpture workshop that brought students together around the creative spirit and intellectual depth of his work.

Some doubts don’t leave with you.
They change at BMU.
