While The Assam Royal Global University is gearing up towards the establishment of the Department of Clinical Psychology, the signing of the THIRD MOU marks a significant initiative of the University in collaborating with Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for strengthening clinical and practical training for its students. This collaboration aims to provide students of Clinical Psychology with adequate clinical exposure by observing and interacting with patients in real-life mental health and rehabilitation settings. This will enhance their learning, develop proper clinical skills, and provide meaningful practical exposure.

With deep sorrow and heartfelt respect, we bid farewell to our beloved Prof. Dr. Bhuban Chandra Barooah, Dean, Royal School of Law and Administration, The Assam Royal Global University.

His demise marks a tremendous loss to the legal fraternity as well as to the wider academic and intellectual community. An eminent scholar, dedicated mentor, and guiding force to countless students, Prof. Baruah’s remarkable contributions in the field of law, Assamese culture, and society will forever remain cherished.

While his physical presence will be deeply missed, his teachings, values, and enduring legacy will continue to illuminate and inspire generations to come.

Royal School of Nursing B.Sc Nursing 4th semester Observed "World Hand Hygiene Day" on 5th May 2026 at Peerless Hospital and Swagat Hospital where various activities like demonstration and Health Education was conducted by our Students on the theme “ Action Saves Lives" with the objectives:
1. To create awareness about the importance of hand hygiene among patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
2. To demonstrate WHO’s 6 steps of hand washing and moments of hand hygiene.
3. To educate on prevention of various infections through proper hand washing.

Signing an MoU marks a significant initiative of The Assam Royal Global University as it gears up to establish the Department of Clinical Psychology, in collaboration with Athena Behavioural Health. This collaboration aims to provide its students of Clinical Psychology with adequate clinical exposure by observing patients with mental health concerns in real-life treatment settings. This will surely enhance their learning and help develop proper clinical skills along with valuable practical exposure.
