Principals’ Conclave 2025, organised by Amity University Madhya Pradesh, was a meaningful initiative aimed at strengthening ethical leadership and value-based education in schools.

The conclave brought together over 400 principals, vice-principals, and educationists from the Gwalior region, creating a powerful platform for dialogue on contemporary challenges in school education, leadership development, student welfare, and parent–school collaboration.

I firmly believe that students must remain focused on their goals and not be distracted by influences that dilute their purpose. Just as Arjuna’s unwavering focus led him to success, today’s learners too must be guided to keep their vision clear and disciplined. Such focus, supported by committed educators and responsible administrators, is essential for shaping confident, capable, and value-driven individuals.

The insightful address by Mr. Vikas Kumar Agrawal, Regional Officer, CBSE Bhopal, on nurturing integrity, responsibility, patriotism, and ethical conduct in children further enriched the deliberations. The felicitation of distinguished principals and teachers was a fitting recognition of their dedication to education.

Platforms like this conclave reaffirm our collective responsibility to guide the next generation with clarity of purpose, strong values and leadership grounded in service to the nation.

One of the most impactful moments of the event was the display of weapons and equipment by the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and BSF, which provided the citizens of Gwalior with a rare opportunity to closely understand the strength, preparedness, and technological advancement of India’s defence forces.

A deeply emotional and respectful segment of the programme was the felicitation of the veer naris (war widows) of soldiers who laid down their lives in the 1971 war and other military operations.
