Amity University Madhya Pradesh is established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), New Delhi which is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and was established with the view to promote professional, industry-oriented education in the state of Madhya Pradesh. . Amity University Madhya Pradesh located on 100 acres of land opposite Gwalior Airport, will impart

modern, practical and research-based courses which will lead to the development of manpower which is employable and ready for industry. This in turn will drive the socio-economic upliftment of the region. Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF- an Umbrella organization of all Amity Institutions). Presently, more than 1,00,000 Students study in 240 programs across 30 Amity campuses spread over 1000 Acres of land with more than 5.1 million sq. More than 4000 faculty and staff members are dedicated to making Amity institutions world class and include leaders such as 12 former vice chancellors of renowned universities including Roorkee University, the former vice chairman of the AICTE, 12 former Generals of the Indian Army, IAS and IPS officers, renowned scientists, former CEOs of PSUs and of course many brilliant academicians. Amity imparts education in almost all areas including management, engineering, biotechnology, law, communication, insurance, nanotechnology, behavioral science, fine arts etc. The Amity Business School and the Amity Institute of Biotechnology have both been ranked No.1 in the country among private institutes. The Amity Institute of Telecommunication and Technology Management has also been ranked among the top in the country and The Amity School of Engineering has been ranked No. 1 in terms of placements. Students, faculty members and staff came together to participate in yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation sessions, reaffirming the importance of holistic well-being, mindfulness, and a healthy lifestyle. The event highlighted how Yoga continues to inspire physical vitality, mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner harmony across all age groups.

The Directorate of Research and Publication at Amity University Madhya Pradesh organised the Orientation Session for the newly admitted PhD. Research Scholars (Jan 2026), marking the beginning of their research journey with guidance, inspiration and academic direction.

The session acquainted scholars with the fundamentals of quality research, academic integrity, research ethics, publication practices and the University's research ecosystem, empowering them to undertake impactful and socially relevant research.

Our Pro Chancellor Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd.), motivated the scholars to pursue research with dedication, innovation and a sense of responsibility towards nation-building and societal development.

Amity School of Architecture and Planning organised the International Symposium under Historic Cities Series 2026 on the theme “Towards Sustainable Heritage Conservation – Promoting Cultural Tourism for Historic Cities and Monuments of the Bundelkhand Region.”

The symposium brought together distinguished experts and heritage practitioners, including:
- Dr. Rima Hooja, President, ICOMOS India
- Dr. Shikha Jain, Director, DRONAH Foundation
- Prof. Johannes Widodo, National University of Singapore
- Dr. Kalyan Kumar Chakravarty, renowned cultural historian
- Col. Anuj Srivastava on “Heritage Conservation in the Armed Forces”
- Ar. Sanjay Bhandari, SPA Delhi
- Nitin Sinha, Secretary, ICOMOS India
and several other eminent scholars and conservation professionals from India and abroad.

Amity University Madhya Pradesh organised a Fire Safety Training Session to equip students, faculty members & staff with essential knowledge of fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation procedures, First Aid and CPR.

The training session was conducted by experts from M/s Singh Isotech Pvt. Ltd., combining interactive learning with hands-on demonstrations, enabling participants to understand the correct use of fire extinguishers, respond effectively during emergencies, and perform basic lifesaving techniques.

The session reinforced the importance of preparedness, awareness, and collective responsibility in creating a safer campus environment.
