Amity University Madhya Pradesh is established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), New Delhi which is a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and was established with the view to promote professional, industry-oriented education in the state of Madhya Pradesh. . Amity University Madhya Pradesh located on 100 acres of land opposite Gwalior Airport, will impart

modern, practical and research-based courses which will lead to the development of manpower which is employable and ready for industry. This in turn will drive the socio-economic upliftment of the region. Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF- an Umbrella organization of all Amity Institutions). Presently, more than 1,00,000 Students study in 240 programs across 30 Amity campuses spread over 1000 Acres of land with more than 5.1 million sq. More than 4000 faculty and staff members are dedicated to making Amity institutions world class and include leaders such as 12 former vice chancellors of renowned universities including Roorkee University, the former vice chairman of the AICTE, 12 former Generals of the Indian Army, IAS and IPS officers, renowned scientists, former CEOs of PSUs and of course many brilliant academicians. Amity University Madhya Pradesh (AUMP), in collaboration with Gwalior Municipal Corporation, organised an inspiring “Swachhta Samvad 2026” aimed at encouraging youth participation towards building a cleaner, greener and more responsible Gwalior.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Bharat Singh Kushwah, Hon’ble Member of Parliament as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Sangh Priy, Municipal Commissioner and Mr. T. Prateek Rao, Additional Commissioner as Special Guests.

While addressing the students, Shri Bharat Singh Kushwah emphasized that youth are the driving force behind every positive transformation and encouraged students to actively contribute towards making Gwalior one of the cleanest cities in the country.

Mr. Sangh Priy highlighted that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of sanitation workers but a collective duty of every citizen. He encouraged students to spread awareness through social media and community engagement to make “Swachh Gwalior” a people’s movement.

Mr. T. Prateek Rao emphasized the importance of active citizen participation and digital engagement in strengthening sanitation management and creating a cleaner urban ecosystem.

In his opening remarks Prof. (Dr.) R. S. Tomar, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, highlighted that cleanliness and better city rankings are directly connected to investment opportunities, employment generation and the overall development of society.

Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor, in his concluding remarks emphasized the importance of discipline and civic responsibility, stating that a clean environment is the foundation of a healthy society and a strong nation.

The session also featured an informative demonstration of the Swachh Gwalior App, showcasing how citizens can actively participate in reporting sanitation-related issues.

The event concluded with students taking the pledge of “Swachh Gwalior, Swasth Gwalior”, reflecting their commitment towards civic responsibility and environmental consciousness.

Paridhan 2026 - The Annual Fashion Show organised by the Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology at Amity University Madhya Pradesh, was a spectacular celebration of fashion, creativity, innovation, and artistic expression.

We were honoured by the virtual presence of Mrs. Divya Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Arts Foundation, as the Chief Guest. Her constant encouragement and visionary guidance continue to inspire young creative minds.

The event brought together talented young designers from across the country who showcased exceptional themes inspired by sustainability, culture, contemporary fashion and creative storytelling through their stunning collections and runway presentations.

While addressing the gathering, Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, Pro-Chancellor, emphasized the importance of blending modern fashion with traditional culture, sustainability and emerging technologies.

Prof. (Dr.) R. S. Tomar, Vice-Chancellor, highlighted India’s rich textile heritage, including Banarasi and Chanderi fabrics, along with the growing importance of innovative and eco-friendly fabrics such as bamboo fabric in the future of fashion.

Amity Institute of Pharmacy organized a One-Day Industrial Visit Program for B.Pharm students at IBN Herbals and E.G. Pharmaceuticals, Baddi (H.P.).

During the visit, students gained firsthand exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including OSD and injectable production, along with insights into Quality Assurance, Quality Control, warehouse operations and compliance with GMP standards.

Such experiential learning initiatives play a vital role in enhancing analytical skills, professional competence and industry readiness among students.
