Mumbai Public School Thank you for your interest in our School. On the following pages you will find everything you need to know to help you make the best choices for your child.

A different topic is covered each half term and each session is carefully planned, but not set in stone. We also give consideration to annual events and festivals. Staff meetings are held regularly both to plan and review sessions. Our approach is 'learning through play' as this is an essential way for children to learn. The period of education from birth to 5 year olds is the 'Foundation Stage',

as it gives a secure foundation for later learning. Activities are planned with these in mind and we are careful to plan enough progression into our activities to meet the needs of different ages and abilities. Each member of staff has particular responsibility for a number of children as a 'Key person' This system helps ensure that each child’s individual needs are incorporated into the daily session plans so that we can give the best possible support for their learning development. The key person your child is allocated will depend on the sessions they attend. they will not shadow them or only work with their own group of children. The system is very flexible as all staff interacts with each child. Please feel free to arrange a time to speak to your child's key person at any point during the term.
