Great initiative by IIITM Rotaract club

"Gift a Notebook...Change a Life"

Rotaract Club – IIITM has come up with an event “Buy a Book” which focuses on raising funds for students who are unfortunately restrained by poverty to get a quality education.

There would be three plans for donation: 1) Buy a Notebook: Donate Rs 30/- to make a child ’s day by gifting them a notebook. 2) Buy a Notebook and Stationery: Gift a child a notebook and stationery by donating Rs 50/- 3) Help with the fee: Donate Rs 100/- and lend a helping hand to someone struggling to afford the fee.

The Donations are accepted through any UPI Source.
No Donation is small. The innocent souls accept each blessing with a smile.
The campaign has received a humongous response last year and was a huge success.

Hope to see a similar response this year as well. 🙂

Piyush Mishra is a man of a million talents, he started his career in Hindi theatre in Delhi after graduating from National School of Drama, Delhi in 1986. He is acclaimed for his acting in Maqbool (2003), Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Pink (2016). As a film lyricist and singer, he is noted for his songs “Arre Ruk Ja Re Bandeh” (Black Friday, 2004), “Aarambh Hai Prachand” (Gulaal, 2009), “Ik Bagal” (Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2, 2012), and “Husna” (MTV Coke Studio, 2012).

He is also an acclaimed Dialogue Writer and Poet. His career is over 3 Decades with a major contribution to Movies, Short Films and Literary Societies in India.

Sri Pundrik Goswami has initiated many programs to enlighten youth. International Gopal Clubs to promote consciousness is one of these. He is also accredited with envisaging Radha Vrindesh Ji temple in Jalandhar and various other peeths in other parts of the country.

Ten years ago, life almost came to a standstill for Virali Modi after an accident. She was lying on her presumed deathbed on her birthday; she was in a coma, living off a ventilator. Absolutely no one thought she would trick death and come back to life so beautifully.

Coming out of coma, she won second place in The Miss Wheelchair India pageant in 2014. She started writing about her life's experiences on Quora and earned 80,000 followers that are getting inspired and motivated by her writing. She is a Quora Top Writer for the past 4 Years and has been published in BBC, Slate and BuzzFeed. She is a motivational speaker. She is working to bring awareness about disability and woman rights through her writing.
