⚖️ Shastrarth – Manch Ek, Tark Anek | Day 2 & Valedictory Ceremony

The School of Legal Studies, Vikrant University successfully concluded the two-day inter-college academic event “Shastrarth – Manch Ek, Tark Anek” on 22 August 2026, with an engaging day of debate, insightful legal discourse, and celebration of excellence.

🎙️ Morning Session & Debate Finals
The debate finals brought together 16 shortlisted finalists, paired into eight teams. Topics were assigned through a draw of lots, while speaking positions were decided through a coin toss, putting participants’ spontaneity, analytical thinking, legal reasoning, and advocacy skills to the test.

The sessions were witnessed by Mr. Yash Sharma, Advocate, MP High Court, and Mr. Ankur Samadhiya, Founder & Director, The Lawgical Academy and Nyaya Saar.

📚 Keynote Address
Adv. Rishesh Sikarwar, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, delivered an insightful keynote on “Litigation Practice: Foundations, Courtroom Skills, and Modern Challenges.” His address offered valuable practical insights into courtroom advocacy, professional ethics, and the evolving challenges of legal practice.

🏆 Valedictory & Prize Distribution Ceremony
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Adv. Rishesh Sikarwar Ji, Chief Guest, and Mr. Anil Banwaria Ji (ADM), Guest of Honour, along with the Hon’ble Chancellor Sir, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Sir, Respected Registrar Ma’am, Respected Dean Academics, Respected Mr. G.S. Dubey Sir, and Respected Dr. Vir Narayan Sir.

The results were announced by the Hon’ble Chancellor Sir, celebrating the remarkable performances of participants across two days of rigorous academic competition.

🥇 First Prize: Ms. Saloni — Prestige Institute of Management and Research
🥈 Second Prize: Ms. Kirti Silawat — School of Legal Studies, Vikrant University
🥉 Third Prize: Mr. Somya Sharma — Madhav Vidhi Mahavidyalaya

A total of 109 students received certificates for their participation and attendance, marking a memorable conclusion to two days of meaningful debate, learning, and intellectual exchange.

We are proud to share that Dr. Richa Verma, Registrar, Vikrant University, Gwalior, represented Vikrant University at the Top Education Brands Summit 2026, bringing valuable insights to the discussion on “From Campus to Career: Making Employability Central to Institutional Branding.”

The session brought together leading educationists, academic leaders, and education innovators to discuss how institutions can strengthen their brand by placing employability, industry readiness, and career outcomes at the heart of education.

Dr. Richa Verma shared perspectives from Vikrant University on the importance of creating a strong campus-to-career ecosystem that connects academic learning with industry expectations and prepares students for the evolving world of work.

The summit also featured the 9th Annual Top Education Brands Awards Ceremony, celebrating the BW Education Power Players of 2026.

📚 Shastrarth – Manch Ek, Tark Anek | Day 1

The School of Legal Studies, Vikrant University successfully conducted the first day of the two-day inter-college academic event “Shastrarth – Manch Ek, Tark Anek” on 21 August 2026, bringing together students and scholars for a vibrant exchange of ideas, perspectives, and academic insights.

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Mr. Ankur Samadhiya, Founder & Director, The Lawgical Academy & Nyaya Saar along with distinguished university leadership. Dr. Vir Narayan Sir, Dean, School of Legal Studies, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of discipline, punctuality, and commitment in both academic pursuits and professional life.

During the inauguration ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) Anand Bisen Sir, Dean Academics, encouraged students to embrace critical thinking, research orientation, and meaningful academic discussions. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Atul Kumar Sir emphasized that true education goes beyond classrooms and textbooks and is strengthened through dialogue, debate, and the fearless exchange of ideas.

The event was further honoured by the gracious presence of the Hon’ble Chancellor Sir and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Sir, who visited the technical sessions and encouraged the participants through their keen interest and valuable support.

The technical sessions witnessed 70+ presentations across two parallel sessions, with participants demonstrating impressive research, analytical abilities, and presentation skills. The quality of presentations made the selection process exceptionally challenging. Against the planned shortlist of 10 participants, 16 participants were ultimately selected for the final round in recognition of their outstanding performance and academic merit.

✨ Day 1 of Shastrarth was a celebration of ideas, arguments, research, and intellectual curiosity — truly reflecting the spirit of “Manch Ek, Tark Anek.”

The School of Management and Commerce, Vikrant University, Gwalior successfully organised a *Yoga Session – “Find Your Inner Calm”* on 19 August 2026 at the Chanakya Block, Vikrant University, Gwalior.

The session was conducted with the objective of promoting physical well-being, mental relaxation, mindfulness, and a balanced lifestyle among the participants. The session was led by *Prof. Upendra Singh Tomar, Additional Controller of Examination, Vikrant University, Gwalior*, who guided the participants through various yoga practices and activities focused on relaxation and inner peace.

The session provided an opportunity for the participants to understand the importance of yoga and mindfulness in maintaining a healthy body and a calm mind. The interactive and engaging nature of the session encouraged active participation and created a positive and rejuvenating atmosphere.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the session and found it beneficial for enhancing mental calmness, concentration, and overall well-being.

The programme concluded successfully with a note of gratitude to the resource person and all the participants for their active involvement and cooperation.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Incubation Cell, Vikrant University successfully conducted the Internal Evaluation of Ideas under MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0.

9 innovative ideas were presented across 06 different themes of MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0. The evaluation aimed to identify innovative, feasible, and impactful ideas with the potential to address real-world challenges and create meaningful solutions.

Each idea was evaluated on prescribed parameters including Innovation & Creativity, Technical Feasibility, Problem-Solving Potential, Cost Effectiveness, Scalability, and Entrepreneurial Impact. The evaluators also provided valuable feedback, suggestions, and guidance to help participants further refine, strengthen, and develop their ideas.

The evaluation was conducted by Mr. Gaurav Rai, Maintenance Manager, Lotus Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur, and Automation Technology Expert – Food & Beverage Industry, as the External Evaluator.

The Internal Evaluation Panel comprised Dr. Nischay Upmanyu, Dr. Rachana Pathak, and Prof. Shashi Pratap, who assessed the ideas and provided constructive inputs throughout the evaluation process.

Based on the evaluation, the selected ideas will be shortlisted for the final presentation and further consideration under MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0, marking the next step towards transforming innovative concepts into impactful and viable solutions.

The initiative reflects Vikrant University’s continued efforts to nurture innovation, encourage entrepreneurial thinking, and provide students with opportunities to transform their ideas into practical solutions with real-world impact.
