The holy festival of Ram Navami in Hinduism observes the divine incarnation of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, who is the epitome of Dharma, courage and devotion. This Day is commemorated on the ninth day of the Chaitra month according to the Hindu calendar.

Ram Navami arrives with the waves of compassion among the devotees of Lord Rama and is celebrated throughout with immense devotion. The festival follows narration of the epic of Ramayana in temples and 'dharmasthans' and also through commencement of bhajans and kirtans. In many places, processions and tirtha yatras are held to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shree Ram fostering a sense of community and unity among people of different backgrounds who come together to celebrate the universal ideals of righteousness, love, and devotion embodied by Lord Rama.

Eid Al Fitr, also known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast " is a celebration observed by Muslims across the globe. It signifies the conclusion of the month of Ramadan during which individuals abstain from eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset each day.

The festivity holds significance for many as it brings family and communities together in unity and affection. The atmosphere is filled with warmth and laughter, and people don their finest colourful attire. Some delicious traditional foods like sewaiyyan, biriyani, and kebabs tantalize the senses adding flavour to the festive atmosphere. People also exchange gifts known as 'Eidi'. Eid is not only a time of self-reflection and gratitude but also a time for spreading love and compassion for all humankind.

Good Friday is a significant day in the Christian faith, marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his ultimate sacrifice for humanity's salvation. It is a time for reflection, prayer, and contemplation of the profound love and sacrifice demonstrated on the cross.

Good Friday is typically marked by church services, including the Stations of the Cross, readings of the Passion narrative, and meditations on Jesus' suffering and death. It is a time for believers to deeply think about the meaning of Christ's sacrifice and to express gratitude for his sacrifice.

On this solemn, Team ChEA pauses to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice made out of love for us. May we find peace, hope, and strength in the message of Jesus' crucifixion and let us remember His boundless love and the promise of redemption.

On the propitious afternoon of 26th February, Team ChEA organized the event named 'Chem-Fable 2k24' on the ground floor, the of Chemical Engineering Department. It focused on making enthusiasts dive deep into the world of chemical engineering and explore its hidden treasures.

The event kickstarted with the discussion revolving around the significance of IIChE followed by insightful presentations by the ChEA members on various aspects of Chemical engineering. Post this, a speech by Prof. Dr. Sunil Baran Kuila (Head of the Department) provided a valuable overview of the latest advances in chemical engineering and its demand. The engaging discussions allowed the participants to connect, share ideas, and clear their concepts. From inspiring industry discussions to the prospects, our event brought together the best and brightest in the field of chemical engineering. By this, Team ChEA fostered a platform for the newcomers to apprehend and clear off all the doubts whirling in the back of their minds. Post the interactive session, a quiz competition was also organized to boost the concepts more. The CHEM-FABLE 2k24 came to an end with the much-awaited announcement of its recruitment drive and a beautiful photoshoot session.

Team ChEA heartily thanks all the organizers and appreciates the active cooperation of its enthusiastic participants in making the event a great success.

Ludwig Boltzmann, the father of statistical mechanics, was born on February 20, 1844. His brilliant mind behind the development of the famous Boltzmann constant and his groundbreaking work had a profound impact on the field of physics and continues to influence scientific research to this day.

One of Ludwig Boltzmann's most enduring achievements is his formulation of statistical mechanics, which provided a statistical explanation for the behavior of thermodynamic systems. He introduced the concept of entropy and made profound efforts in explaining the behavior of gases and the second law of thermodynamics through statistical principles. Ludwig Boltzmann's legacy lives on through the many scientific concepts and principles that bear his name, such as the Boltzmann constant (k), Boltzmann distribution, and the Boltzmann equation. Furthermore, his work continues to inspire and influence generations of physicists and researchers, shaping our understanding of the fundamental laws that govern the natural world.

Subhas Chandra Bose, one of the most prominent leaders, the fearless freedom fighter in the Indian independence movement, was born on January 23, 1897. His birthday is celebrated in India as "Parakram Diwas," which marks the birth anniversary of this iconic freedom fighter. It is a day to honor his contributions to India's struggle for independence and to remember his fearless spirit and determination in the pursuit of liberty.

A prominent leader in the Indian National Congress, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was deeply committed to achieving India's freedom from British rule. His unwavering determination and strong leadership qualities made him a revered figure in the Indian independence movement. He is best known for his strong resistance to colonial rule and his call for "Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom."

On the 8th of January, the birthday of the renowned physicist Stephan Hawkins is celebrated to remember his immense contributions in the arena of science and technology that brought drastic revolutions worldwide.

The great physicist was born in the year of 1942, in Oxford, England. He was a meritorious student from his childhood level itself but suddenly at the age of 21, an unexpected storm shook his life. He was diagnosed with ALS, a neurodegenerative disease, and his whole life confined into the spokes of a wheelchair. Despite all the physical challenges prevailing, he fought them bravely and overcame them with his rock-solid determination. He continued with his research works and gifted the world with his innovative inventions. His theories on theoretical physics, cosmology, and exploration of black holes marked him as one of the greatest scientific minds of all time. His excellent works compiled in the book named "A Brief History of Time" opened various new avenues to science enthusiasts all over.

As the soft moonlight blankets the earth, with its captivating glow, a joyous and devoted atmosphere fills the air signalling the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurupurab.

During this celebration, individuals reflect upon the teachings of Guru Nanak embracing the Sikh principle of 'Sarbat da Bhala,' which emphasizes the well-being of all humanity. Devotees immerse themselves in captivating hymns known as Shabads that encapsulate Guru Nanak's wisdom. The festivities also include Langar Seva, a meal service and Nagarkirtan, a procession.

Beyond being a commemoration of Guru Nanak's birth anniversary the day serves as an awakening, for the soul—a reaffirmation of compassion, equality and selfless service values that were deeply cherished by Guru Nanak himself.

Our hearts scream blue! Our minds think blue! And our lungs breathe blue!

We will be standing still with our Indian team even at their worst. Their tireless efforts, breakless performances and most importantly the timeless happiness they have gifted us throughout the tournament will be there intact and preserved forever in a very special corner of our hearts.

Yes, we cried tears of heartbreak yesterday night! Our dreams were shattered once again!
But the infinite love of our countrymen for our BLUE team will never vow down even a bit overnight due to a 50-over match.
The cup was a very precious one to us but our Team is priceless to us.

Team ChEA along with the whole country heartily thank the Indian Team for everything and "We are proud of you!"
